This was the school she applied early decision to, and they weren't supposed to notify her until New Year's Day - two weeks from now. I was bracing myself for the year to start really well - or really badly. But she got in and she knows already, and after we jumped around screaming and she called all the key family members, she has hit the "accept" button and I've already shelled out $500 for her deposit and, OMG, I'm beyond happy for her!
