i'm a pretty happy fellow at the moment. firstly, after four days in the studio the acorn has finished our next album. it's not the big grant one, but one that just kind of came about somewhat unexpectedly when we had a few songs that weren't going to make the grant album and then a few more popped out - six in total. we had several of our friends come in and help out and the results are really, really great. i've been listening to the rough mixes that we made this evening pretty much non-stop since i got home.
secondly, i head to toronto tomorrow for some sweet, sweet cuddling (and, well, more) with my beloved. it's been nearly two weeks and i am seriously lacking.
okay, well, rolf will kill me if he finds out cause this is only a rough mix and he made me promise not to post any mp3s until everything's done, but here:
