I guess this posting thing isn't as hard as I thought it would be, heheh. Anyway, I have some unfinished/random stuff from the past two years that I don't want to post on deviantart, so I'm sticking it over here.
lol, this took forever, so much nitpicking and redrawing, and I was still nowhere close to getting it done. Maybe someday I'll go back and try to redraw it. The orange building is an actual, and very cool looking building in the French Quarter in New Orleans:
gotta love those swirly cast iron balconies! maybe you can't see them in this pic, but they're really neat and unique!
both this and the above one were done in 2009, after I saw the star trek movie. Probably obvious. :p I didn't like this when I was drawing it but I actually like it now! huh.

Drawing of my friend agenthal's character. I like this one even though it's rough, and the anatomy and choice of skintones could be way better, haha. (and the background, LOL, so halfassed)
conceptart.org had the daily sketch challenge of 'terrifying green monster'. I was too much of a wuss to post it there, because it seems like everyone on conceptart.org is brilliant at art. Plus, this monster is not really terrifying, IMO. XD
huh, i just found a picture of Balthier from '06, apparently. Was it really 5 years ago? 0_0 I remember the background in this was based on a dream I'd had.
Unfinished pic of Lightning from FFXII, from last year. I spent FOREVER tweaking this one, I remember. (and yet it's still unfinished -_-; )
You would have shoulders like that too if you carried around a giant gun-sword all day!
sketch I did today which is heavily inspired by Mary GrandPre. She is my art hero right now, asldkjwkl. she has such gorgeous illustrations and I love her 'soft geometry' style. Spent like an hour just drooling at pastel illustrations on the computer today, haha. The sketches above the faces are copies of her compositions for some of the Harry Potter covers. :)
And then, because I am a silly obssessed PL fan, I drew Professor Layton XD'
lol, idek. Geometry faces are FUN, though. And I bet it would be even better with -paint-, and -colors-. omg, want to do this right now. :D
In conclusion, I think I used to be better at painting than I am now. :\ On the other hand, I've gotten lots better at anatomy, so hopefully it hasn't been a total loss. Now I've just got to draw pictures for people on memes and for school, and stop doing elaborate doodles that I never post anywhere! *determination*
