The house was alive!
Although not a lot has happened over the last couple of weeks, it seems like I have been very busy. Work has been great, no surprises there, and I have been just trying to catch up on the Churches books since I need to have 2006 ready to present on the 21st of this month. I am planning on doing a few hours today, and at least 1 hr every night this week. I should be ready.
In reference to the subject, we had some friends and their 2 sweet girls stay with us a couple of nights while their house is being worked on. I had such a great time! As for the cats, well, they just stayed under the covers in our bedroom, terrified, and I felt no pain for them. Little sucks! Friday night as we were getting supper together, and the kids were playing, cartoons on in the background, adults all chatting, I remarked that this house has never been so alive...it was really great. I was very sad to say goodbye yesterday, although the cats were relieved!
I have been off RA meds now almost 2 weeks. I have not noticed any major change in my pain or mobility, which is good. I am using a stop smoking lozenge which stops allowing nicotine to absorbed, and I think that it is working. I have 3-4 packs left of them, and when they are gone, so are the cigarettes. I have halved my less then half a pack a day habit, so the rest should be a snap!
