2 interviews, 2 days

I aced the first one on Wednesday. I think I really did well. Problem? The job sounds BORING!! I would care for payables only. Receiving, posting, paying and filing. All day. I'm used to doing everything. Even if I cared for receivables and payables it would be more interesting. But its a place to start I guess. I will know in a week if I was successful. Also, only a term position until the end of September, with the chance of the term being extended.

Yesterdays went not so well. I had a hard time expressing my talents for some reason. Then they asked me to read a map. I know latitude and longitude, but the other 2 numbers, I had no idea. The position is to be a forest fire radio clerk. Lots of things to do, exciting, but only term until September. Draw back 1. Second, nice hours, 8-4 with some extended hours as needed, and every second weekend, but they are 10 days on, 4 days off. The four days off would be nice, but would I be able to physically handle 10 days in a row with no breaks? I already handle 6 days, and I am tired by Sunday, but an extra 4 days on...thats a lot for me. I will know about this one by this afternoon. If I have not gotten a call by 4:30, I know I was unsuccessful.

Both jobs allow me to gain seniority, and after 6 months of working with them (not required to be all at one time) I can have benefits. It's been a hard decision on what to do if I get either job. *sigh*

No call back from AFM. Their loss.
