I had a wisdom tooth pulled today. Don't ask me why since I had them out about 6 years ago, or most of them obviously. It had cracked and now was bugging me. I hate my teeth and the dentist. I took it like a trooper though! Anyway, took the afternoon off from work and did the house work and relaxed a little. Just waiting for my bro to come home from school and papers, so I decided I should update this thing since I have been more lax then usual.
Yesterday went to parent teacher with my bro. He's doing quite well! A couple of eighties, and the rest he has been working really hard to bring the mark up, and it shows. He does the work, but he just doesn't hand it in. We're working on it.
AND...I've still got it! What you say? Well, I went to my girlfriends place on Wednesday, and helped her install a deadbolt. Her BF is outta town and we thought it would be a good time to get it done, since I have some experience. Her little one wasn't quite going to bed the easy way, so I asked her to go and get my bro from bowling. In the ten minutes she was gone, I scooped up the little one, and using my technique, had him to sleep. Ahhhhh, that was reassuring! It was a good night for catching up and being productive. We even hung the fire extingusher..hehe.
Work has been a bit hectic, since one of my guys decided to quit and move to the other towing company in town that moved in recently. The grass is always greener on the other side, but I see some warning signs about the deal that I wouldn't have ignored. Not my life though, and we have already arranged for another guy that used to work for us to join the team again. We'll see how that works out. *crosses fingers*
Its been a week, and I notice that I say that a lot, because inevitably there is more that I could talk about, but there are 2 possibilities:
1)I have forgotten to write about it
2)I don't feel like writing THAT much.
Depends on the week I guess. I do hope everyone else enjoys the weekend and is ready for the week ahead.
