Just thought I would check in and let everyone know that I have not died or moved or anything. Death actually seems pretty sweet right now...jk. Anyways, its been one heck of a week again. No matter what age the kid is, motherhood is a very busy life to lead, while working a full time job and everything else that I had going on before my bro came to live with us. Had a good birthday for my bro, we did get him the Xbox, and he seems to be loving it. My sister also made the suggestion that he come to the city for a week over spring break. My nephew is an only child, and so he would be as bored as my bro would be all week long, so she thought it would be a good thing to have them together. I definitely agree. Talked with his social worker and she thinks that he will have a great time and it will be a great opportunity for him to get out for a bit and just be a kid. He is going AWESOME at school, with no assignments overdue or anything, AND he is passing all of his classes, how could I say no? So tomorrow night he hits the over night bus, lucky sis, she gets to be up at 6:30am to be at the bus to wait for him. *giggles* She works in the same building she lives in, so she should be able to get a bit of sleep in during the week since she doesn't have to get up and take my nephew to school. What else, I don't actually have much more time to type more, but here goes: I realized this week after being so mad at my parents that they had ignored my bros birthday last week, they had given him $25 to go to Brandon with when he went to provincials. I suddenly felt really guilty for blaming them for not doing anything on his birthday, but both the hubby and sister said they they should have at least acknowledged it, or given him a card, like they would have for any of the other kids if they had given them a gift before the actual date...so I am still annoyed with them about it, but I feel a little less mad since they had made that contribution to his trip. I was sick last night, woke up at 1:30am with a massive tooth ache, and nothing cut the pain. I finally got back to sleep about 3:30, so I slept in the morning, which meant I had to bust my ass this afternoon at work to get everything done, and then 2 outta 3 of my tow trucks went down just before closing so I worked about an hour late, them was on call until about a half hour ago. Tough running a company that has no trucks! Now, I have to leave to go to an Elks meeting, so I will have to cut this short, but maybe later tonight I will come back on and fill in the little details that I didn't type in this entry. If I don't just go to bed.
