Geez, its been a long time since I actually wrote my journal entry. Partly because, well, I don't have a very exciting life really. Things stay pretty usual most of the time. The hubby will ask me, "how was your day?" and my usual response is, "standard." So...what to say what to say...well, my old roomie is all moved into her new house..which is so nice. I love the bi-level layout. In my old house to get upstairs or downstairs you had about 12-15 steps, (this was when I was young.) I kinda always thought that houses with basements and upstairs were all like that. At the roomies place, its about 6 stairs up and down. Its so neat! We have been lucky enough to be invited for dinner a couple of times, so its nice to have that luxury together. Now I guess it will be my turn, as soon as the hubby and I get a BBQ. My parents are chipping in $150 towards a BBQ and accessories for our anniversary. 3 years married August 10th. Wow..time flies! So I am gonna take my dad downtown so he can help me pick one out that will work well for us. The old roomie also hit the quarter of a century mark last Friday, so we all went out to dinner and went back to her house for cake, and then to Ruckers for some games. Dance Dance Revolution is FUN! I suck, but its fun! I have been working 24hrs a day since the 29th of July since my boss went on holidays and towing doesn't stop just cuz he's gone...I WAS looking forward to tonite being my first nite off, tucking into a bottle of wine and phoning in sick tomorrow...at least for the morning. Can't take too much time or anything since our fiscal year end is July 31st...but I won't bore you with my accounting nightmares. But, my usual driver has been going steady for the last couple of days and needs some sleep, and I am not confident enough in the truck to tow by myself long distance, so the boss is heading out for 4-5hrs and getting a couple of jobs done. *sigh* I wish I was the one driving, since I have put in a full day of work here, if I drove, I would make 20% of the total job, and be able to make some extra cash on the side. Oh well, can't cry over what I haven't learned yet right? I make good money anyways, but a few extra bucks always makes me smile. So yeah, I guess that fills in pretty much my life for the last couple of weeks. Working so much not much time for anything else. OH! I did get some new stucco on my house this week and it looks NICE!!! No more dryer vent hole in the side of my house! Plus my range hood is working awesome! It looks so good. I put some nice red flowers up on the shelf and my salt and pepper, my kitchen looks so much bigger now, and its already big!
Thats all!
Over and Out!!
