Today was a pretty easy day. It was in the mid-90’s so I stayed in as much as possible. Mostly just applying for jobs while taking a break here and there to do some farming and spriting. Natalie’s cousin arrived last night so I let them go have girl time together without me at Millennium Park since I’ve already seen it. Courtney, her cousin, already said she's ready to fly back home after all the walking she did just in the 5 hours they were gone. When they got back we all just kind of chilled and got drinks at Starbucks.
When Em got home though we decided to go eat at this really good burger and bar joint. I t was pretty good, but I really wish they cooked the burgers better. I like well-done, and when I say that that shit better be black and slightly crispy. And it’s not just me; both my mom and I share this same idea. Like we legit believe we’re going to get really sick and just die. x__x
Burgers aside though it was a nice place, but I don’t think it was worth the 45 minute wait.
My personal highlight from today though was buying the concert tickets for ONE OK ROCK. Like I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am about this - I mean last year a friend and I talked about going to one in February up in new York, but we both dropped it a few months in. Now I definitely can’t change my mind - though I am a little worried that I might have a new job by then. I mean it’s on a Tuesday night, but the concert doors open at 5:30 but they don’t actually perform till 7 so I think I would be good. Unless I get a job that work late night. Which I really hope I don’t since I’m blind at night. XD
Also apparently tomorrow in the 105 heat wave we’re going to go swimming in Lake Michigan. >D I am SOOOO READY!
