good timing
My scanner is down. Just when I'm actually drawing again.
I'm suspecting the power cable. Or its just too old.
The scanner is more than 5 years old by now. Has mold-like substance growing beneath the glass, resulting in puffs of light yellow in my scans. That resulted when it was left unused from the day it was bought, until about a year back. Nevertheless it served me well, sometimes in place of a digicam.
I wonder how long this urge to draw will last. Especially when my dry period lasted about half a year. Maybe its the 5-day National Day holiday(almost) that gave me a reason to draw.
I drew Allen and Kuchiki Byakuya. Allen's uniform looked abit weird and Byakuya looked traced off the manga. To think I took 2 hours to sketch something that looks traced. Too perfectionistic liao? Kubo Tite's style is incredibly hard to imitate. why am i drawing it in that style anyway? If I traced, I'd have saved most of the time.
It took alot less time for Allen. ^_^;;
