So, I only noticed you did THIS one from seeing that you did one from this PAST week - I thought you skipped it altogether so I never commented b'c I didn't see the pics! (I'll look at them next...)
Thoughts: which, by the by, will be more positive than whatever I say re THIS present wk's episode b'c I didn't like this wk's episode:
Didn't like all that much in this ep either but --
1- Liked seeing a lot of AL (Starchild/Elliot [who I did not know was off to go sing on tour; I thought he had signed up for a bunch of future eps. That's makes me ultra, ultra sad!! Seriously.]) Loved hearing him sing a bunch of different styles b'c I like his voice (best on the show at the moment, IMO.) 2- Jane Lynch's lines: most esp'ly her: Oh God, why!! were delivered w' pinpoint accuracy. I hope there is a plan in place to keep one of the few people on Glee who can actually act. 3- Sam's response to Blaine of '5th wheel, dude...' was hilarious. 4- 'One Three Hill?' MUCH better name than 'Pamela Lansbury'. Really, anything would be but I LOVE that new name so I hope he keeps it. 5- I loved the Supreme song (but I happen to love that sort of music) - I thought they did an amazing job; and I thought the 3 of them harmonized beautifully at the end of the episode.
Other thoughts:
..why were they so rude to Artie this whole episode?
THIS. It was like Blaine was saying: hey, you had your SL last week; don't be a hog. Which would, of course, be highly hypocritical. But, in any case, there was absolutely no rationale for it & for like the 2nd time in 2 or 3 weeks, I find myself in the position of defending Artie (a character I've disliked practically since the beginning of the show.) Maybe that's the writers' secret plan. Who can tell?
Why is Elliott allowed to tell Rachel calling him her 'best gay' is offensive but Kurt for some reason has to just...take it?
I really wish that Kurt would tell her to shove it just ONE time w' that crap, but alas...
SCHOOL FLOORS ARE GROSS GET UP
Hey! Britanny ate Cheerios off that floor (then again, she ate what she thought was magical cat poop so...)
Blaine acted like a six year old in this episode -- it made me seriously nauseous. (He's a senior in HS. If you walk in on your friends making out in some random room, a normal person walks back out b'c it's 1-none of their business & 2-really rude to interrupt. 3- It's beyond childish to comment on what they are up to: if it matters to Blaine b'c of leftover feelings for Sam, he should rethink his engagement. If it matters to Blaine b'c of Tina's original crush on him, that's immature & self-centered in a negative way that I'd like to believe has nothing to do with this. If it honestly & truly ONLY matters b'c it was supposed to 'their' night, then that also is a pretty immature attitude, considering that he doesn't have a real fix on how either one of his two good friends feel about this hook up (i.e., how important it might be to them) & spending one last night in his HS shouldn't be the be-all & end-all of life to someone who got engaged a few months back. He's moving to NY w' Sam so he'll be seeing plenty of him in the future; and there really should be a limit as to how important this 'night' of fun should be to Blaine, esp'ly since he was supposedly only going thru w' it b'c Tina was so unhappy w' Sue's ruling.) By this point in time, the writers have moved Blaine and Kurt so far apart in when they stand in life experiences (even tho it shouldn't have made such a difference) that it'll be interesting to see how they fix the quandary of baby-Blaine and sorta-adult-like Kurt. IMO.
Also, Becky has become the (second) biggest bitch at McKinley -- having established a week or two ago that Tina was the first. (Albeit I'm perfectly willing to switch them around...)
One last thing: Kurt now 1-eating & 2-eating junk food is just weird b'c all he's done since he started Glee is become anorexically thin, and then the only change since was that he gained some muscle in his arms -- but he remains remarkably skinny.
It sounds like Adam's kind of doing the episodes as long as his schedule works out, but he's going on tour as the lead singer of Queen this summer so I'm sure that's going to take a lot of rehearsing. But I think the tour ends in late July, so if he has nothing after that he'll probably be back next season because he interviewed last week that he wants to come back.
Apparently Sue's going to still be around, but it sounds like nobody knows how that's going to work yet. I like Sue in small doses and when she actually has a purpose in the episode, so I'd be okay with her staying around somewhere.
Yeah, I have no idea why they were so rude to Artie because it made no sense, but there's probably no good reason for it in the end...
I mean, to me Blaine's over-reaction was mostly funny, but I can see why it would be a bit of a shock especially since Sam and Tina have really shown no inclination before this episode that they thought of each other as more than friends but since Blaine's made out with a girl before without being too disgusted by it (admittedly this was back when he was mature!Blaine before he was de-aged, but still) it's a little odd he would go off like that and cite that as one of the reasons.
Even looking back Kurt almost exclusively eats junk food on-screen but still gets skinnier every season; that boy must have an amazingly fast metabolism.
