I found Finn's speech more sad than creepy(didn't find it creepy at all) because it made it clear that Rachel was fucked with his mind so much with her possessiveness over him that he thinks A)he deserves to be treated like shit by her and B)she's his only option. And the writers made that quite clear too since Rachel gets another boy to play around with and Finn gets nothing but a one night stand with his abusive ex who'll end up screwing him over with this pregnancy "shocker"(I have no faith in Rachel's ability to be a good person and do the right thing). When you get treated like someone's possession for three years, of course you feel like you belong together

I just didn't like the writing for Finn this episode at all. He went from 'not everything is about you, Rachel' to 'I kissed Miss Pillsbury because I've randomly developed feelings for her' to 'we're endgame and you know it and I'm going to tell you what we are' to apparently not caring Rachel left in the middle of the night because helping Will sort out his life is more important than looking at his own, so...I have no idea what was going on with him.
I loved angsty-Klaine because it gave opportunities for Chris and Darren to do some excellent acting, but I've had enough of it so bring on the cute!platonic!Klaine.
Will can just...go away, really.
I hope Rachel isn't pregnant, not because I care about Rachel, but because Finn's going to be dragged in somehow and I don't want that at all.
The writers probably aren't doing it purposely, since they never even acknowledge that Rachel's abusive, but Finn is going through all the signs we were told to watch for when my friend was dumped by his abusive witch of a girlfriend. There's no realization that their relationship was wrong so he still clings to the hope because she's spent so long convincing him that he's supposed to be with her but there's still bitterness at being abandonned by her, convincing himself he has feelings for the first woman he shared a bit of a connection with post-break up, going back to the abusive ex, accepting being abandonned again because he's not good enough, finding distractions. The only thing we didn't see was an obsession to become "better" so he's good enough for her.
Or if Will's staying, let Finn go discover himself so he knows he's more than Rachel's purse holder and punching bag. Kurt can say it all he wants but until Finn believes it, nothing'll happen.
Plus Rachel on hormones? Poor, poor roommates. She already acts like a spoiled
Yeah, I genuinely believe that the writers don't see anything wrong with how Rachel treats him or how Finchel is portrayed in general, which is why I don't think they would have Finn 'suffering'from being in a bad relationship even though I'm pretty sure it's easy to come to that conclusion. And he does kind of want to become 'better', or at least he did in the first season when he wanted it for himself, but he doesn't seem to do anything for himself any more so...
That whole loft is getting way too crowded with Brody and Santana and apparently Adam hanging around all the time.
I loved this as always. You have really expressed my thoughts to the episode. Love love love the Klaine. Finchel squicked me. That balcony scene was awful. Finchel never seem to have sex for the right reasons. I was liking Finn until this episode and then realised it was because he was talking to Rachel. I used to like this couple. Now I can barely tolerate them. I was okay with Jake/Marley/Ryder when they were first introduced but now they are just bland and Melissa Benoist always looks sick/tired. Really liked the lack of angst for Klaine and the consistent reminders that no matter what Kurt thinks, there is no such thing as platonic Klaine.
The Klaine was so much more than I could have hoped for, and I was majorly spoiled for this episode xP The Finchel...sometimes I'm okay with them, but they felt off all episode to me and I think it was a combination of the writing being really bad and them trying to do something different with their chemistry that made it seem really awkward. Finn without Rachel is infinitely better than Finn with Rachel, always.
Platonic!Klaine is the biggest joke on Glee. It doesn't exist.
I'm kind of neutral about femmeslash for the most part but I think Quinntana could be good for both of them and I actually really liked it, so I hope they don't forget about it the next time Quinn shows up

So, no spoiler person (except that eventually will come some Klaine...) I thought Kurt brought Adam (if, for no other reason than to prove that he can actually SPEAK...) I was wrong...
He looks so enthralled by those cupcakes. Also, Kurt, how is your trip through Egypt going? Because if you have to say four or five times that you're 'just friends' with somebody, you're pretty deep in denial.
I wasn't sure at this point in the show. He may have been trying to just not lead Blaine on... and (of course) it would be pretty damn important not to lead your longterm BF on...
...I really do not like this scene. Finn comes off like a douche, and I love Finn so this pains me to say, but it was like...psycho-serial-killer-ish with the pulling the petals off ..... and just...no. Writers, no. Where is my sweet, bumbling, well-intentioned but slightly confused Finn? I don't like this new 'sexy' Finn. He's creepy.Hee, hee. Some recap person said the same thing but in an even creepier manner. Now I can
