Neither do I. It was rather wonderful. That poor animal on Puck's head, tho...
NO KIDDING. SOCKS. FINALLY. I still maintain what I said to you before, that Kurt threatened to not put out unless Blaine got over his Fear of Socks *nods*
Wonderful recap. Agree with lots of stuff. Disagreed with some. Wanted Blinn angry-sex. Did not get Blinn angry-sex (which would have happened if Glee was on HBO, but hey...) About the dancing, what I heard is that, that style is called 'waacking', a dance that originated in black in latino gay discos in the 70s. source: http://florence-devils.tumblr.com/post/13643704323/just-so-you-know
I wanted Blinn angry-sex as well. Boo, Glee. Wasted opportunity. xP
And ah, yeah, I know about waacking but it doesn't look any less odd. I remember once time they did a waacking routine on 'So You Think You Can Dance' and the judges collectively just looked kind of confused. I get the significance with the show but at the same time I think it would fly over a lot of people's heads. My parents, for instance, spent the whole routine laughing because of the way they were flailing around...
I liked this episode (mostly because Sam's back). And I liked Kurt's outfit at the end! My mom said the exact thing about the Troubletones just standing there and I just pointed out it was symbolizom. Mike and his father was just emotional! I'm glad they worked everything out and lol Tina sending in Mike's applications!
Haha, I know we weren't *actually* supposed to believe they stood there for the whole time but it just seemed weird pacing-wise to me and far more...dramatic than it had a right to be? idk, something about it felt off with the tone of the rest of the episode.
Tina's awesome, though. She knows what Mike really needs in life :)
I don't really know why Blaine was all 'let's sex it up!' last year and is now apparently a prude, but I'll chalk that down to Glee's normal continuity issues.
That was just bizarre. And I really wanted to see Kurt's expression following Blaine's unbelievably offensive comment to Sam. Did he stick by his (rude) BF? Did he realize that Blaine had gone completely over the top? Was he remembering that approximately 9 months ago, Blaine was telling him not only that the Warblers needed to 'sex things up' but that Kurt, himself, had all the sex appeal of a baby penguin? I didn't really give a shit what Finn was thinking after that confrontation so showing me Finn was not at all helpful...
And tongue. Kurt, honey, if you're trying to make him run away you're doing it wrong.(Hee, hee, hee.) I thought Kurt eviscerated Sebastian, not only in the coffee shop, but through his awesome dancing moves as well. (But, admittedly, I'm totally biased
( ... )
SAM. I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE HIM BACK <3 I didn't think I'd miss him as much as I did...
And yeah, they showed Kurt a couple of times but his face was pretty much 'oh, look, there goes Blaine putting his foot in it...' so it was hard to tell what his actual reaction would have been. And I agree showing Finn wasn't helpful but I do think Finn and Blaine needed to clear the air between them, and at least they set that up by Blaine mentioning Finn's less-than-cordial behaviour towards him in that first coffee-shop scene.
I love snarky!sassy!Kurt, so I approved of him so hard this episode :)
And I have no idea what happened on the Klaine-front this episode. Seriously, it was like they weren't together at all in the end because Blaine was all, 'HAI FINN AND SAM!' and Kurt was...examining the bottles of hairspray on the piano.

...Except for Puck's hair, but that's by the by.
Also Blaine was wearing socks. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, YOU'RE DOING IT RIGHT.
Also I am frankly amazing that I got passed the caps where his neck was exposed...
...I don't have a problem.
Also you are a hilarious, flawless bamf. This is all.

I had pretty much the same face as Kurt too when we find out that lindsay (or whatever the name is) was just a sophomore.
