Glee-View 2x22

Um. Where do I start?

-New York looked awesome. I had the chance to go there once and I couldn't, and now I really wish I did ;.;

-I love how friendly everybody was this episode, even with Quinn's little break down (and that's the loudest she's ever gotten, I think. Wow. Girl has some lungs on her!!)

-DID THEY SERIOUSLY WAIT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE COMPETITION TO WRITE THEIR SONGS??? YIKES!!

-The whole song through Central Park was a lot of fun.

-My mom has such intense dislike for Matthew Morrison that she told us to watch that scene without her while she left. I actually didn't mind his song, for what it's worth.

-I LOVED MY CUP. AND PUCK'S FACE DURING 'MY CUP.' IT'S LIKE BRITTANY'S TRIBUTE TO HER FAVOURITE SONG, 'MY HEADBAND'!!!

-Boy!bonding was great and the pillow fight in the girls/Kurt's room. Hee.

-Okay, I'm indifferent to Finchel generally, but they were really cute this episode. Finn was super sweet and Rachel's excitement over Patti LuPone and her knowing Kurt would never forgive her for not introducing herself. Also Patti saying 'He's cute.' Yes, Patti. Yes, he is.

-BELLA NOTTE OH MY GOSH IT WAS CHEESE AND CRACK AND WONDERFUL. BOYS, I LOVE ALL OF YOU. PUCK PLAYING THE ACCORDION. WHEE! (My heart broke for Finn. Poor boy).

-KURT AND RACHEL'S SCENE. KURT AND RACHEL'S SCENE. (Also, I posted this .gif on tumblr. 1200 notes. I'm speechless).

-'For Good' was the only time I almost cried tonight. It was brilliant. I love those two and their friendship (although, as I said elsewhere, Kurt suggested Finn coming to New York FAR too quickly. And then when Rachel said that her dream and her love were both the same and they weren't Finn I imagine he didn't feel too badly about that, either. My Kinn brain is always on, people. Always

-I, um, also made this:

That's how much I loved that scene.

-I'm kinda shipping Will/Dustin now. Is that wrong? I could actually see it...

-Puck hugging Mr. Schue in that scene was so sweet. Also, I appreciated the Quick hints and how Quinn couldn't say his name in the Unholy Trinity scene (and I loved seeing those three girls together again) Aw... (Plus, Kurt and Finn sat REALLY CLOSE in that hugging scene...)

-Um, the all-girls school didn't impress me that much. The song choice made me laugh, but idk...

-I loved that Rachel made it up to Sunshine. She's growing up so much and I'm loving her more and more.

-I loved New Directions performances. Like usual. They just have so much energy and look like they're having so much fun, and it's brilliant.

-HI JESSE I LOVE YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU WEREN'T THERE VERY MUCH.

-HAI, BLAINE. YOU NEED TO SPEAK AT MORE APPROPRIATE TIMES. Seriously, his confessions are super sweet and always right out of the blue xP Kurt was like, "Wait. Did he say that? Should I respond? What do I say?". Hee. (In my opinion he waited a little too long for it to be really authentic and his face before he said it wasn't incredibly happy like I would have expected, but can we put that down to shock? Maybe? I'm probably reading too much into it.)
It was this face that bothered me the most, right after Blaine said 'I love you':

That's not a happy face or a surprised face, it's far too close to his normal 'I-will-cut-you' face that he makes when he's annoyed, and Chris is far too good an actor for it not to be intentional.

Somebody over on tumblr hypothesized that it might be because Kurt, like Rachel, realized from performing on the Wicked stage that Broadway and performing is really his one true love as well and he felt guilty about being almost obligated to say it, but I just don't know...honestly, this is like the biggest cliffhanger for me. There was just something...weird about Kurt's reply, but like I said, maybe I'm just looking into it too closely.

-BUT DANG IT, BOYS, YOU CAN'T PROFESS YOUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND THEN NOT KISS.

-Er-hem. I like Samcedes. I think they're good for each other. But since I've come to ship Blam, have some Blam .gifs:

-I LOVED the Santana/Brittany scene. They're so sweet and Brittany's speech is practically everything I love about Glee. The Finn/Rachel scene was bittersweet because it's like they know they're on borrowed time and Rachel's laid that out quite clearly. FINN'S HAND IS GIANT ON HER FACE, THOUGH!!!

-Also, Cory looked incredibly handsome all episode. Seriously. He was FINE.

-Um, 12 out of 50 isn't bad, really. They'll make it next year xP

-So. I quite enjoyed it. And no matter if the show's changed this year or what's happened, it's still Glee and I still love it with my whole heart and I still can't wait for next season. If only it wasn't four months away.

-Thanks for sticking with me for all of these recaps, guys! Love you all &hearts
