The weather is purly crap where I am too and I am sick! So the chapter update was an excellent addition to the day. Yeah Finn's back and seems to want to be with Kurt! Can't wait for the next update!!!

Okay, so I am such a sucker for historical romance, and pirate fic on top of it all? *dies* I just caught up with this as I was in Chi this week. By chance do you read Lee Rowan? She is also a Canadian and writes awesomely awesome fiction aboard ships...lemme link you: http://www.amazon.com/Lee-Rowan/e/B002BMERVI/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1306206947&sr=1-2-ent

Her Royal Navy series is made of awesome, so if you're into it, I HIGHLY recommend her stuff.

I've never read Lee Rowan but those sound really great; I definitely want to read them now!!! (I'm rather slowly making my way through Patrick O'Brian's books at the moment because I've always loved nautical stories, and while there isn't much romance there's definitely bromance going on and since the two main characters call each other 'my dear' and 'my joy' and such all the time it's...not that big a step to imagine it xP)

Finn is with Kurt again!! YAY!!

And he is giving some serious and twisted hints!!, sometimes i just want to punch him in the face & hug him at the same time >_<, anyway, lets see what the future stand for them.

And Blam, they are sooooooo cute :))

Finn's still...he knows he wants it but he's still afraid, so he has to get over that before he can truly be with Kurt.

I love writing Blaine/Sam in this fic. They're just utter fluff whereas the Finn/Kurt is rather angsty at the moment!!!

I love this, I haven't been on lj lately but I've just caught up with this story and woah.
I love how your writing reflects the time in which this is set, it's perfect and hard to do, but I'm glad you're the writer attempting it.
Also, love the Blam, very sweet and the Finn/Kurt is just the right amount of angst right now.

(Also, just saw that you wrote Mark/Roger Rentfic and squee'd because that's like, my OTP of OTP's. Reading, like, now.)

I need to watch myself so much with my writing and I've checked a whole bunch of words to make sure they existed during that time frame!!! (Finn keeps wanting to say 'dude' and I have to stop him xP)

I love Mark/Roger. I really do :)

Really? You'd never notice. It all flows really nicely and seems scarily legitimate. One that really stood out to me was "break the fast" and I was like, woah, she's good. I have the hardest time writing AUs. Alternate universe needs to be alternate and Kurt just really can't be squaking about the significance of his skin care routine in victorian england. And damn Finn and his modern american teenage boy vocabulary.

Everyone loves Mark/Roger, whether they know it or not. It's Mark and Roger, you can't not love them.

I try to remember phrasing and such from movies/books that were set in that time, even though 'Pirates of the Caribbean' probably isn't the most accurate portrayal of pirate life at that time (but I figure if Disney can get away with it and make millions of dollars I should be okay xP)

And I agree. Mark/Roger is wonderful :)
