Even more bittersweet
Yep, I turned 20 yesterday, Happy Birthday to me. My mom wished me a happy birthday which was nice, and she sent me some good presents as well. I also got a Happy Birthday song sung to me by my Drill Team Squadron, which was pretty funny too.
However, one birthday present I didn't count on was that I just found I have not been selected for a POC slot this year, which has left me feeling kind of depressed. I still have three more years of college to go, so I have another chance to be selected, but my plans for the summer have been thrown into disarray regardless.
I don't feel like saying much else at the moment, but mayble I'll update again later.
