Enhanced Physical Training took place again this morning, and while I definitely didn't do brilliantly, I managed to keep going in spite of the pain and nerves. Finally got to wear my Battle Dress Uniform for the first time today, and I felt pretty proud to be able to wear it. Can't wait until Thursday when I get to wear the full uniform. Classes are going okay, but I'm pretty tired at the moment from learning and training.
Once again the weather has been wonderful here, in the low 60s and perfectly clear, so that I was able to do some homework outside. You'd hardly believe it's January, but that's the way things go around here in Colorado. I was able to meet up with some friends out earlier, including John, who I hadn't seen since the last semester ended, so that was pretty cool.
Oh yeah, I recently found the livejournal of a soldier who was killed on January 11, 2005. Anyone else who reads this may want to take a look at it. I pray he found the way to Heaven. wolfmoon98
