Life has been absolute crap lately, and yesterday I hit an all-time low. I was depressed, stressed out, miserable, and found myself with no outlet at home. Today, I woke myself up, went out, found distractions, met with friends, and bought an anti-insanity survival kit so that the next time I hit rock bottom I won't find myself in the mental hospital. Here it is.
A ditzy chick lit book for when I don't want to use my brain for anything - Lauren Conrad's LA Candy. A substantial but entertaining non-fiction book for when my brain needs stimulation - Anthony Bourdain's A Cook's Tour. Cheap but yummy vodka - The Bar orange vodka. Go-to comfort drink - Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate Sensation hot chocolate. A relaxant that I don't plan on using until I absolutely cannot take the anxiety attacks anymore - Marlboro Black and a lighter. Chocolate to feed my addiction and give me endorphins of course - Cadbury Dairy Milk bar. Happy pills to keep the GAD (general anxiety disorder) away - Hydroxyzine Iterax. For that much-needed sugar-high - Sugus Orange and Strawberry candies.
