Okay I still have food on the brain haha. I started thinking about Filipino food that I hope somebody will show the No Reservations crew when they finally get here, and that I hope they like everything. Here's my list. I was thinking traditional here; pure, unadulterated Pinoy fare.
Adobong baboy at manok, dinuguan with puto, adobong pusit, kaldereta, isaw manok, isaw baboy, betamax, tenga barbecue, paa barbecue, lechon, tuyo with kamatis and itlog na maalat, daing, turon, hopia, sinangag, goto, binagoongang baboy, leche flan, ginataan, tapa, penoy, sapi-sapin, inihaw, pichi-pichi, bopis, tokwa't baboy, kare-kare, palitaw, tocino, bibingka, longganisa, baked tahong, laing, pinapaitan, sinigang, puto bumbong, sweet beans and garbanzos, suman, sago't gulaman, tukneneng, biko, tabliya hot chocolate, crispy pata, chicharong bulaklak, champorado, kuchinta, chicharong bituka, buko pie, dirty ice cream, plain chicharon, fruit salad, sizzling sisig, calamay, ube halaya, bistek, taho, balut, fish and squid balls, halo-halo, lumpia, kikiam, aroz caldo, pansit, calamares, San Miguel beer, lambanog, kangkong with bagoong, mango shake.
So much awesome food, and I take it for granted. Gotta get some of that this weekend haha. Or better yet, get my parents to cook some of those. Did I miss anything?
