(no subject)
Dallas as fun.
I got to see my brother, sister, mom and stepdad. My mom fed us like pigs. I think we ate her gumbo for every meal on the first 2 days. Then bbq for the 4th and Mongolian grilled food and ughhhh. It was real good though :)
Katie, JoJo and I met up with Alex and them at Purgatory in downtown dallas. It was OK. BT, Bad Boy Bill and J-Majik were playing but all at the same time. The jungle area looked like a cokehead bar and the upstairs room looked like a loft apartment. It was interesting but most of the people there looked like the kind of people I would never talk to. Katie and I got lost on the way back and ended up in Garland (45 min east of Dallas) when we should have been in Grand Prairie (30 min west of Dallas).
We left at 4:45am on Wednesday and I drove most of the way back. I got real tired though and Katie took over. In BR some 18 wheeler kicked up rocks and they smashed my windshield up pretty good. Kind of funny .. if I hadn't stopped to let her take over, we wouldn't have been behind the truck and none of it would have happened. Ah well .. after we got into town I had to run home, shower, and come into work until 6pm.
All in all it was a fun mini vacation. My mom took good care of us and I got to bond with my siblings. Now I need to work out twice as hard to work off those damn calories I put on while I was there.
Oh, and what do I come back to? My bathroom all fucked up because my roomate had has friends use it and wash their dirty hands in my sink, ravers.org going down, and a category 5 hurricane headed in this general direction. I asked my roomate not to ever let anyone we don't know in our bathroom ever again. It's his house but its our private space.
