On the day the Dae Guk Nam Ah members had a break all the members were at home relaxing. Suhoon was in his room listening to his ipod when he heard knocking on his door.
"Come in," Suhoon called out to the person who had knocked. The door slowly opened and Hyunmin walked into Suhoon's room.
"Hey hyung what are you doing?" Hyunmin asked going and sitting by Suhoon on his bed.
"I'm just reminiscing about our days back in Xing and listening to some of the old songs we sang," Suhoon explained. "Do you want to listen with me?" Suhoon took out one of his ear buds and held it out to Hyunmin.
"Sure hyung," Hyunmin said a small smile forming on his face as he took the ear bud from Suhoon and put it in his ear. The song playing was the song they sang with the rest of Xing Opera called I'm really okay. Hyunmin let out a sigh because it was when they were recording that song that he first fell in love with Suhoon. Their old songs really did bring back memories. "I remember this song. The lyrics are so sad." He closed his eyes listening to the song but opened them when he heard Suhoon say something.
"Yeah the lyrics are sad. The song is kind of sweet though," Suhoon commented making Hyunmin open his eyes to look at him.
"How is it sweet? I don't hear any trace of sweetness at all," Hyunmin said looking at him confused.
"Well the way I see it is that the person in the song is in love," Suhoon replied his gaze focused on the wall across the room from them. "I believe that the person is in love because to me if you really love some then you care about their happiness more than your own." Suhoon glanced over at Hyunmin who was still looking at him confused. Suddenly the door opened and Karam bursted in.
"Suhoon-hyung, Hyunmin dinner's ready," Karam called to them. "Hurry before it gets cold."
"Alright we're coming," Suhoon said as he and Hyunmin took out the ear buds and got up off the bed. Suhoon went out of the door ahead of Hyunmin and when Hyunmin walked through the door way he saw Suhoon with his arm around Karams shoulders talking and laughing with him. Then Suhoon's words echoed in Hyunmin's head. '...if you really love some then you care about their happiness more than your own.' Could Suhoon have been trying to tell him something by saying that? Well even if he wasn't Hyunmin thought to himself that it fit his situation pretty well. Hyunmin let out a sigh before walking to where the others were waiting.

For the next week Hyunmin tried to live normally as if nothing had happened. Whenever he saw Suhoon with Karam he tried to direct his attention somewhere else so he could ignore the hollow feeling in his chest. At the end of the week though he was confronted by Suhoon. They were both at home while the others were at schedules watching tv together on the couch. Besides the sound of the tv there was a awkward silence in the room until Suhoon spoke up.
"Is everything okay between us Hyunmin because I kind of felt like you were avoiding me all week?" Suhoon asked looking at him. Hyunmin was shocked. Had he been avoiding Suhoon he hadn't noticed at all.
"No everything's okay with us nothing's wrong," Hyunmin replied eyes not leaving the tv.
"Are you sure nothing's wrong at all?" Suhoon asked raising an eyebrow at him. "You've seemed down all week."
"No it's nothing really," Hyunmin lied still refusing to look at Suhoon.
"Hyunmin really if something's wrong you can tell me," Suhoon said looking at him pleadingly. "I want you to be able to trust me." Hyunmin tried hard not to look at Suhoon but his eyes betrayed him and looked at him. Hyunmin finally broke and decided to just tell Suhoon something.
"I found out that...the person I like doesn't like me back," Hyunmin quietly told Suhoon.
"Do you know for sure that the person doesn't like you? Did you ever confess?" Suhoon asked.
"No I never confessed I just assumed that the person didn't like me because I saw the person spending a lot if time with another person," Hyunmin replied. "I've been thinking about what you said too about how if you really love some then you care about their happiness more than your own."
"But if you don't know if that person really doesn't like you then you shouldn't think like that," Suhoon said softly slowly leaning his face close to Hyunmin's. "You'll never know for sure unless you take a chance." Suhoon closed the distance between their lips and gave Hyunmin a soft kiss. Hyunmin was completely shocked but melted into the kiss kissing Suhoon back. Suhoon pulled back and placed his forehead on Hyunmin's a small smile on his face.
"You shouldn't completely sacrifice your happiness for someone else's," Suhoon said softly looking Hyunmin in the eye. "You deserve to be happy too."
"I thought you liked Karam," Hyunmin whispered.
"No, I love you," Suhoon whispered back smiling gently at Hyunmin.
"I love you too," Hyunmin said smiling back at him then slowly leaning closer to get another kiss.
