Chapter Twenty: Party Crasher

Previously

It was almost as if Midori never came into their lives. Aoi wanted to make it quite clear that he never loved Midori; it was merely a fling for him. Though he was often at work, he let Uruha know that he was loved by surprising him with many gifts. Soon, Uruha and Aoi's bedroom was filled with roses, candy and clothes.
Uruha, however, was too pregnant to enjoy these things as he normally would. Now in his ninth month of pregnancy, he just wanted the baby out. He would lay on his bed, too uncomfortable to do anything really and feel the baby toss, turn and kick.
Uruha sniffled unhappily as he rubbed his swollen tummy. He stopped going shopping as well due to an incident concerning a suspicious manager. Apparently, a store manager thought Uruha was trying to smuggle a basketball out of the store. Uruha, who was already self-conscious, burst into an emotional fit and refused to go out until the baby was out.
Ruki popped his head into the bedroom. "Uruha?" Ruki gingerly whispered.
"I wanna die, Ru. Get this freaking thing OUT of me!" Uruha wailed. "I wanna die, I wanna die, I wanna die! I feel fat and fugly and--"
"NO! Stop it! If YOU'RE fat, like, now, I'll be, like a WHALE once I reach my ninth month!" Ruki realized with shock. He rubbed at his face, nearly knocking over a vase of roses. "HOLY CRAPOLA!"
Uruha tried to sit up but fell back down on the bed with an unhappy plop. "You're not gonna be fat! And I'm already a whale! Two whales! FIVE HUNDRED PREGNANT WHALES!"
Ruki stumbled over and tried to pull Uruha up. "Damn you, Reita!" He said with tears in his eyes and drama in his voice.
Uruha reached over to his bedside table. "Chocolate?" He offered sobbingly, holding up one of the many heart-shaped box full of bonbons.
Ruki nodded. "Thank you," he cried, tears streaming down his cheeks. He nibbled into it. "I hate coconut!" He handed the bitten candy back to the bawling Uruha.
"I can't EAT chocolate! I'll grow even fatter!" exclaimed Uruha.
"Uruha, darling! What's wrong, baby?" Uruha's mother stepped into the bedroom. "Oh my Lord! Aki, come look at this!"
"Ru, you brought my mom?!" Uruha asked through his tears.
Ruki sniffled and gulped before nodding. "Th-They brought your sisters."
Sayuri stuck her head in. She resembled Uruha somewhat, but was taller and looked more like Uruha's father.
"Uruha, stop crying! You were fat before so don't worry!" Uruha cried even harder.
"Sayuri!" Aya gave Uruha's older sister a look before sitting on the bed to comfort the very pregnant and very upset Uruha. Sayuri pouted and let her five-year-old son into the room to see Uruha. He looked at Uruha and toddled up to touch his bump.
"Hideki, there's a baby in there," Uruha's mother said, patting Hideki's little head.
"But, daddy told me babies come from Big Bird!"
"Big Bird?"
"No," Sayuri said, "Daddy meant the stork, which IS a big bird, not actually Big Bird himself!"
"Thank gosh," Aya muttered. "Big Bird looks like a pedophile, if you ask me!"
"Mom! Hideki loves Big Bird!"
"Ohhhh! Sorry, darling! I'm sure Big Bird is wonderful! Perfectly wonderful!"
Ruki rolled his eyes. "I'm SO not letting MY baby watch Sesame Street. I'm changing it to, like, the fashion channel so it can have good, like, fashion sense when he or she is older!"
"Oh Ruki, you're pregnant?" Sayuri eyed his flat stomach. "I never would have guessed! You're still so skinny!"
"That's 'cause you're comparing him to ME!" Uruha buried his face into his mother's shoulder. She patted him comfortingly.
"How come you guys are here?" Uruha finally asked when he calmed down.
"My son is in his ninth month of pregnancy! You don't get to say that every day, now do you. I wouldn't miss this for the world!"
Uruha sniffled slightly again and allowed himself to be coaxed into the rented convertible for a day of shopping.

~

"Any idea on the gender?" Ruki had a sudden spending urge and the both of them decided to ditch Reita with his son and go downtown for a day of shopping.
"Nope," Uruha said, tossing a little yellow knit hat into the wicker basket he was holding. They were in a gorgeous baby store stocked with more couture clothing and maternity clothes. The only problem was that Uruha already bought a closet full of as much cute, little baby clothes as he could get his pregnant hands on.
"Sweetie, do you REALLY need that? I mean, come on," Ruki said, looking at the hat.
"YES!" Uruha said defensively. "Look! They even have little feather boas!"
"Holy crap, we have to totally get those," Ruki said, grabbing a fistful of the racks.
Uruha looked up. "What if my baby's a boy?"
"Mine's not gonna be."
"How do you know?"
"'Cause I'm TELLING it, like, not to be! Duh!" Ruki cleared his throat. He closed his eyes and started humming and rubbing his hands all over his flat abdomen. He started to turn his head all around and threw his hands up in the air. He jumped in the air a few times and did a pirouette. He took a deep breath and stretched towards the ceiling. Uruha stared at him.
"What the hell, Ruki."
"WHAT? That's my secret ritual for having a girl. Plus I've been eating nothing but, like, chocolate. I heard that, like, sweet craving leads to girls," Ruki looked pleased with himself. In the corner of Uruha's eye, he could see his sisters watching Ruki do his ritual in weirded-out silence. They scuttled out once Ruki was done.
"NO! I've been eating pickles all the time! And cheese! And cheesecake! Is cheesecake considered sweet?" Uruha gathered up their items and headed towards the cashier.
Ruki shrugged. "Iunno, but all I know is that I'm gonna swell up like a balloon. Stupid horny Reita. I wish that, like, he was the one pregnant." He handed his debit card to the young woman at the counter.
Uruha giggled. "I think he wishes he was the pregnant one too. I heard you waking him up last night at 4AM to get you chocolate."
Ruki grinned deviously. "Well, if I'm gonna have to get fat and pregnant, I might as well, like, make the most of it, am I right?" He signed the receipt before adding offhandedly, "Oh, and Kai wants to throw like some kinda random party for the twins. To celebrate them being alive or something."
"He didn't tell me anything about it! Maybe he's avoiding me... Ruki, is Kai avoiding me?"
"Calm your hormones, child. Geeeeez, he didn't say anything to you because like he's only CONSIDERING it. Got it, baby? And like he doesn't want you to become all hormonal and emotional or anything."
Uruha pouted, picking up the shopping bags.
"I am NOT emotional! I can prove it! Why would anyone say that? I'm pregnant!! Not, not HANDICAPPED!" Uruha's eyes filled up with tears.
"Whoaaa. Are you CRYING?"
"Am not!" Uruha turned around and wiped his eyes. Ruki sighed and rolled his eyes as they climbed into the car.
"How about we surprise Kai then? Like, throw a surprise party and he totally doesn't even have to do anything! He's already, like, pretty busy with the twins."
"Oooh! That's a great idea! We could hire a clown and everything!"
"But I thought that clowns scare the shit out of you."
"Right. My gosh, Ruki, drive slower! The police are onto us."
"FINE. Anywho, I totally have the perfect place for the par-TAY."
"WHERE?"
"This place called Fantasize." Ruki reached into his bag and pulled out a bright shiny pamphlet, nearly swerving into the large SUV in the lane beside theirs. "It's so totally fab. They have, like, fourteen bars. Their drink specialty is this custom designed one called the Neon Cyclone. It's got tequila and everything. I tried the neon pink one before and it is sooo totally--" Ruki stopped when he saw the look on Uruha's face.
"What?"
"RUKI! This party is for FIVE MONTH YEAR OLDS!"
"Oooh. Heh heh. Right." Ruki pulled up into the driveway. Uruha got out of the car gingerly, still holding onto his swollen tummy.
"Let's rent a nice banquet hall? Like one of those with the modern-decor... Oooh, with a balcony too!"
"Awesome idea.. I hope that baby of yours will stay inside you until that party is over."
"I hope so too. But it's so annoying! I have to lug this thing around. And worst of all, I can't even take it off. AND IT KICKS! I can feel it moving around me. I HATE BEING PREGNANT! And worst of all...I don't think Aoi finds me.." He and Ruki paused at the front door.
"What."
Uruha hung his head.
"I don't think Aoi finds me sexy anymore..."
"You silly kid. Of course he TOTALLY does!"
"Really?"
"Yeah! Like, just last night. I heard him. 'Uruha is so totally sexy, I love the way he's so hot and like everything. I totally wanna sex him up because he's too sexy and hot and sexy. I hope that baby, like, comes out soon so I can make, like, another one with him. God, that man is so goddamn fuckable.'" Ruki imitated Aoi's deep voice unconvincingly and opened the door to get in. Uruha laughed anyway.
"He did NOT, Ruki!' But Uruha felt better. They placed the bags onto Uruha's bed.
"Anywho, I love being pregnant... The sex is SO MUCH better! I'm, like, all sensitive and when Reita tou--"
"OKAY! TOOO MUCH INFORMATION!"
"Psshh. You know you like it. Speaking of which... Where IS Reita? REITA? REITA!"
The two listened in silence as Reita walked up the stairs.
"Yes?" Reita asked exasperatedly when he reached Uruha's room's doorway. Rei was in his arms and Reita's face was covered in tomato sauce.
"Daddy's yummy!" Rei crowed. Reita patted his head and grimaced.
"Mmm, I agree," Ruki said, pecking Reita's cheek.
"Please, get a room," Uruha said, covering his eyes.
"Be that way," Ruki stuck his tongue out at Uruha, who yawned.
"You're gonna take care of the plans right?" Uruha rubbed his eyes.
"Yeah, I'm probably gonna like, force your sisters to help me too."
"Mmm, I see."
"Wanna take a nap?"
"Yeah.."

~

When Uruha awoke, Aoi had come home and they decided to stay home for dinner, while Ruki and Reita went for a night out. Rei had made himself comfortable in Reita's old room. Everyone decided that the room was to made into Rei's whenever he stayed over.
Uruha was watching television on the bed with Aoi next to him, tapping away on his laptop.
"Aoi?"
"Hmm?" Aoi typed a few more words before stopping and turning to face Uruha.
Uruha leaned back onto his fat pillow.
"Do you ever think about the future?"
"All the time."
"What do you see?"
"You make me sound like a fortune teller."
"Ha, ha, funny. Oooh! Do you remember that time you told me you were psychic?"
"My God, not this again. It's so corny."
"I liked it. I honestly thought you could tell the future."
"You also believed in Lord of the Rings at that time. You were so cute when you were seventeen."
"WERE?"
"ARE! ARE! Are cute. Still are."
"Yeah, well. I really can't say the same for you." Uruha stuck his tongue out.
"Boohoo. My heart has been shattered into a million little pieces."
"Awww, I'm sorry."
"It's okay."
"But no. Seriously. What do you see in the future?"
Aoi looked at the ceiling, thinking.
"And I want an HONEST answer. Not what you want me to hear."
"Mmm. I see. A house. And the sunrise filling up a room. And a bed. With white sheets, and someone sleeping next to me." Uruha sat up a little more. "But the smoke detectors go off. This insane child downstairs is trying to make breakfast. But having unfortunately inherited bad cooking skills from my side of the family, the breakfast is burnt."
"Just..one kid?" Uruha pressed his finger slightly to his unborn child.
"We can change that."
"What colour was the hair?"
"My hair? White. I'm old. So old."
"You idiot!" Uruha laughed. "The person sleeping next to you."
"Not sure. You looked like an angel, that's what I saw."
"Aww, it was me?"
"Who else could it have been?" Aoi leaned in to kiss Uruha. Uruha smiled and lovingly met his lips to Aoi's. It was soft and gentle, and afterwards, Uruha leaned on Aoi's shoulder, feeling at one with the world and his child.
"The Shire's real, by the way."

~

Ruki really went all out. He hired waiters, got a gourmet chef to cater the whole event and somehow managed to get Reita and Miyavi to take time off and decorate the banquet hall.
"Wow," Aoi said when he walked in with Uruha. The hall was indeed magnificent. Gold streamers and shiny silver helium-filled balloons hung from every nook and cranny. A huge buffet was set up at the side of the room, with a huge white cake planted on the centre of the table. Two large men struggled to move a cotton candy machine. A hired professional photographer was setting up his equipment near the corner. Reita was asleep in a chair while Miyavi released the last of the balloons into the air. They floated up to the ceiling among the other balloons and streamers and stayed there. Ruki walked around with his glasses and a clipboard, ordering caterers around.
The light coming from the chandelier gave everything a soft glow.
Uruha looked around, trying to take this all in. It was as if this was all a dream.
"Let's have Ruki plan our baby's birthday party," Aoi whispered to Uruha, who nodded. His mouth was open in awe, still absorbing the whole fairy tale-like scene.
Miyavi kicked at Reita's head lightly to wake him up. Ruki was obviously very stressed out; his cheeks were flushed and he looked irritated. Reita was probably going to die a violent death should Ruki discover he was sleeping. Reita snorted and awoke with a start.
"Whahappen? I'm okay."
"Fag, the party's about to start and you're sleeping. Lawlz, Ruki's gonna chop off your nuts!" Miyavi giggled and pinned up the last streamer.
"Wow. That giggle wasn't gay at all, Miv. And who says "lawlz"?"
"That's not what your mom said last night!"
"Right."
"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE , LIKE, USHERING PEOPLE IN! WHAT THE HELL. AM I THE ONLY RESPONSIBLE ONE HERE?" Ruki broke apart the conversation. His eyebrows were so furrowed, it looked like he had a unibrow.
"Okay, okay, calm down."
"I AM FUCKING CALM."
Miyavi and Reita started to run towards the doors to prepare to greet people.
Uruha and Aoi exchanged a glance. Maybe they shouldn't get Ruki to plan their baby's birthday party after all. Aoi excused himself to answer a call and Uruha was left alone with Ruki. Guests slowly started to trickle in, admiring openly at the decor. Uruha felt a contraction at his swollen belly and let out a squeek of horror. Not now!
Uruha could see a lot of guests. Nao came in with Shou and Saga. Hiroto carried large giftbags and Tora sprinkled confetti onto Kai, who was holding his babies. Kyo, the oft-heard-about cousin of Ruki's was growling at the corner of the buffet, daring anyone to come near.  And of course, Shinya and Jui stumbled in, Shinya wordless and Jui full of laughter and feather-adorned. A man that Uruha only knew by name, Sakito, was dj-ing the event and Hitsugi was helping blow more balloons (some popped). Theresa was even there! Uruha wanted to go say hi. Today was a pretty big day... Uruha could even faintly make out Hard Gay! He could ruin the whole thing by going into labour. Crap.
"Uruha! Darling! You look marvelous!" Gackt entered the room and noticed Uruha. Crap!
"Okay, Uru. I know you think Gackt's a bit scary, but I had to invite him. Kai, like, wants the babies to have a whole bunch of, like, connections when they're older." Ruki whispered into Uruha's ear.
"Oh." Uruha winced in pain at his contraction, then winced again when he saw a whole pack of people (Gackt and his entourage) coming from across the banquet hall to embrace him.

"You okay?" Ruki asked worriedly.
"Fine." Uruha's voice was a bit strained, but he managed to get the words out. Baby...stay in there! At least until the party's over! Today was the twins' day to shine! Just..avoid people until this whole event was over!
"Ooooh, is that CHAMPAGNE?" Gackt, fortunately, was easily distracted. He made a sharp left turn in his path towards Uruha and his entourage followed. Uruha turned around and gave a sigh of relief.
"URUHA-SAMA!" Miyavi's cousin's prepubescent daughter was running towards him with a team of other girls. Uruha's tummy gave another painful contraction (due to fear?) and Uruha turned around again and tried to escape before any fangirl horror began.
"HE'S SO BEAUTIFUL! EVEN WHEN HE'S PREGNANT!"
"I WANNA GET A CHUNK OF HIS HAIR!"
"I WANNA GET TWO CHUNKS OF HIS HAIR!"
"YOU GREEDY BITCH! SAVE SOME FOR US!"
They all giggled hysterically.
Why? Who had to go and invite fangirls?
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Aoi came back and swept Uruha into his arms, away from the scary girls.
"Are you alright?"
Uruha had a feeling that his baby wasn't going to stay put, but he nodded anyway. Maybe if he just ignored the problem, it will go away.
"Let's go sit on the balcony. The air might do you some good." Uruha allowed himself to be led onto the balcony, where a few guests stood to enjoy the scenery. Uruha leaned against the railing and took a few shallow breaths. He definitely was NOT feeling well. Not even in the slightest. Aoi went towards the buffet to bring him something to eat.
"Hi Uruha!" Kai walked over and brought him a glass of water.
"Hey Kai. Where are the twins?"
"They're with Miyavi, greeting people. Anyway, what about you? Ruki said you weren't feeling well. What's wrong?"
"I don't know, my stomach, my thing! It's been hurting, I don't know what's happening! But it keeps coming back and it hurts and I wanna die!"
Kai turned pale. "Are you sure? Oh my God, it can only mean one thing!"
"What?"
But what it meant, Uruha never found out. The next thing he knew, there were screams coming from inside the banquet hall. Ruki tripped onto the balcony and looked frightened. The guests on the balcony tried to look inside the hall without getting too close. They all then looked at Ruki curiously, wondering what on earth happened inside.
"M-m-"
"Ruki, what happened?" Kai looked worried and anxious.
"M-m-"
"Are the twins okay?"
Ruki nodded, but his eyes were still the size of dinner plates.
"M-m-" He pointed inside the banquet hall.
The other guests circled in to hear what he had to say. Uruha heard some glass break inside the hall and some more screaming. Someone let out a huge "AI-YEE!" and Uruha was pretty that it was Theresa. Kai ran inside to find his babies and Miyavi and to make sure they were okay.
Ruki gazed deeply into Uruha's eyes. Uruha felt another huge contraction.
"Midori." Ruki whispered.
Uruha gasped. Ruki gasped. The other guests gasped.
Midori ran onto the balcony. "YOU." Uruha looked up at Midori in fear. Everyone gasped in unison. Ruki stood in front of Uruha in an attempt to protect him. Midori merely pushed him aside, as if he were just a rag doll. Ruki yelped in shock and fell to the floor. Uruha started to back away from Midori slowly, clutching at his lower abdomen. Midori had let herself go. Her once shiny, straight hair was straggly and messy. Her beautiful clothes were ripped, torn and stained. Her pretty, clear face was pale and lifeless. Uruha felt the sickening agony of another contraction. Everything HURT.
Only when he reached the railing that surrounded the balcony did he realized that there was no escaping the terror that was Midori. Everyone screamed and ran inside.
"You." She caught up to Uruha and came face-to-face with him. Uruha could feel her angry breath on his face. "You ruined everything I cared about. You stole my boyfriend. You wrecked my career. I know that the whole incident with my office had to do with you. And now, I am going to ruin you." Uruha's knees felt weak from pain as he felt his water burst. A puddle of fluid gathered at his feet. Ruki stood up and ran towards Uruha, trying to help him.
"Bye bye, Uruha." Midori said before pushing Uruha off the balcony.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Ruki screamed, trying to reach for Uruha, before he hit the ground from the three storey-building.
But Uruha didn't hear. All he heard was silence before he slipped into the wonderful unconciousness.

Epilogue.

I woke up and stretched out. AH! What on earth? There's some kinda lump on my bed. I sit up abruptly. Great. Tuki's passed out there again. She always does this. A week before exams too. Random-ass parties seem to be her thing. Oh, wait. Takumi's party! Right. He's a jerk, so I didn't go. I get up and try to shake her awake, before her parents find out where she was last night.
"Tuki, get up!" I whisper.
"Noooo. Lemme sleep. I'll pay...you..."
She's been drinking again. Her bleach-blond hair was covered with glitter and cake.
"Yo, why'd you even go to Takumi's party. He's a dick."
Tuki rolled over with the most retarded grin on her face. "I heard Jun was going to be there. He's so cute. I kissed him last night. I think he liked it."
"You got cake on my bedsheets!" Why couldn't she have passed out in her own bed? It's only a few steps away from mine!
"Crap, if Rei finds out--"
"I think he was out too."
"Oh good! Then I can share my parents' anger. I hate it when they're angry."
"TUKI! GET DOWN HERE, RIGHT NOW!!"
"Ah shit."
Tuki looked at Ryoko.
"I'm coming down with you."
"Really? Thanks! You were always my best friend!"
"To watch, dumbass. You think I'm missing this?"
Tuki groaned. I pushed her out of the room and down the stairs. In the kitchen, Uruha and Reita were sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast and Ruki was pacing back and forth. Ruki's anger seemed overwhelmingly intense for a man of such short stature. It spilled out of him in forms of angry long, sentences no one could understand.
"How could you? What was even going on in your mind? In what drugged-up alley did you throw your common sense? I wasn't even like this as a kid!" Uruha and Reita exchanged glances then started laughing.
"HEY!" Ruki bellowed. "That is NOT helping the cause at all!"
"OKAY! OKAY! I'm sorry! I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry for sneaking out! But nothing happened really and Rei was there too!"
There was silence. Ruki and Reita both looked Tuki with looks of disbelief on their faces.
"WHAT?" They both said in unison.
I snickered. It was too funny.
Mom shot me a death glare. I stopped. But I knew I had this really goofy grin on my face from trying not to laugh.
"I was talking about finishing off the hot water for your hour long showers and, like, losing your phone, but this is SO news to me!"
"Yes, do go on." Reita added. Rei walked into the kitchen and sat down with a bowl of cereal. I swear, this guy looks exactly like his dad, only taller and with black hair.
Tuki gulped. "Can I just get my punishment now?" Rei froze.
"What punishment?" He asked.
Reita stood up and Ruki grinned. "I wouldn't call it a punishment." Tuki gave a huge sigh of relief.
"I would say, it's more of a life sentence." Reita put his hand on his daughter's shoulder and turned her in the direction of the hallway.
"TO YOUR ROOM." Reita and Ruki followed Tuki to our room to discuss the horrific details of her life sentence. Rei punched the air, thinking he was off the hook. "WE'RE DEALING WITH YOU LATER, REI."
"Damn." He slouched in his chair. He finished his cereal in two bites and dragged himself back to his room to mope.
Mom looked at me.
"Did you go to the party?" He asked me.
"Nope, but Tuki passed out on my bed!"
"That's beautiful." He shook his head. "You guys are only seventeen. Kids grow up so fast. Ughh, I feel so old."
"Whose old?" Dad came down into the kitchen, with his tie not done up yet. "I heard Ruki yelling again. So I figured I should come down when he wasn't here." He sat down with us at the table.
"Smart choice," Mom said, reaching over and doing up his tie.
"How's the little one?" Dad asked, patting his hand on Mom's rounded stomach.
"Kicking," He answered, laughing.
"Four months?"
"Yup."
I leave that scene, half wanting to leave them alone and half wanting to find out what happened to Ruki and Rei.

Uruha watched his daughter leave the kitchen. He looked at Aoi. He changed a bit over the past years. His black hair was cut shorter now and he took out his lipring and had gotten a nosestud. Uruha missed that lipring. He absentmindedly poked Aoi's hand for a bit.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Aoi said. Uruha laughed.
"Who says that anymore?" Aoi chuckled but looked at Uruha to go on. "Well, Ryo, she's growing up. Soon, she'll be moving out, starting a life on her own. Do you think she'll be okay? And this one," Uruha said, pointing at his current pregnancy. "Will this one be okay? Will we be okay? Will anyone be okay?"
Aoi leaned back on his chair. He thought about all the things they went though, together. Meeting each other, their parents, their own personal hardships. Midori. They were pretty okay.
"I'm pretty sure she'll be okay. But you never know right?"
"What do you mean?"
Aoi's eyes gazed meaningfully into Uruha's honey-coloured ones.
"The future's not promised."

THE END.

author's note: AHHHHHHHH!
i am so sorry for this being probably nearly a year late?
first, i got pneumonia (whoopie) and stayed at the hospital for a bit. stay healthy, kids.
secondly, i stopped writing for a while due to school. i love school so far, its going amazingly :)
thirdly, i really hope you liked my little story. well, not little, its 20 chapters.......... but yes, i hope you liked it.
its a slight trainwreck, but one day i shall become better. hehehe.

i'd love to hear what you think of it! thank you all so very much!

and guess what? I HAVE FANART FOR THIS FANFIC!
it is by rukixkaiyaoi  and i love it!
thank you so much, YOU ARE LIFE!
this is possibly the cutest thing you'll ever see.

BONUS!

Itoshii and Miyabi struggled. It was pretty hard. Girls can be strong, surprisingly. "ITOSHII! I LOVE YOU!" A girl reached out and touched him. "I TOUCHED HIM!" Itoshii and Miyabi, now sixteen, were surrounded by a pack of fangirls, outside of their school. Voted "Best-Looking of Year 3", girls were all trying to get them to fall in love with them.

"How'd we get ourselves into this mess?" Itoshii pushed up his black-framed glasses that were threatening to fall onto the ground and get fangirl-trampled. Itoshii was a nerd, but a good-looking one. His black hair was casually messy and his arms were muscled from carrying too many textbooks. And he could play guitar, which made the fangirls crazy.

"I have no idea, but I LIKE it!" Miyabi was a totally different story. His black hair was dyed a reddish brown, it was waxed and carefully dishevelled. Unlike Itoshii, Miyabi spent almost an hour on it before going out. He, too, was muscled but this was intentionally done. His abdominal muscles showed through his shirt and that, too, drove the fangirls wild.

Itoshii sighed and accepted his fate. They were waiting for their bus so they could go home after Miyabi's basketball practise, but the girls found them and attacked when they least expected it. He stood in silence while being hugged, kissed and pushed around mercilessly. Miyabi started to give out autographs. People on the street kept giving them funny stares.
"No pushing, ladies. There's enough of Miyabi to go around."
"You sound so unbelievably gay when you say that." Miyabi merely rolled his eyes at his younger twin.

"AH! IT'S REI!" Someone cried and suddenly, the fangirls spotted Tuki's older brother. Rei, looking impeccably cool with his leather jacket and bass strapped across his back, glanced up when he heard his name. He was in the middle of lighting a cigarette.
"Oh shit." Then everybody started running, chasing Rei and leaving the twins alone.
"Oh well," Miyabi said, watching them go. "That was fun while it lasted."
"Speak for yourself, someone ripped of my jean pocket."
"Gotta learn to take care of yourself, lil' bro." Miyabi laughed. "Hey, wait."
"What?"
"A FANGIRL! THEY STOLE MY WALLET!"
