Sorry about the diapers! If you decide to dump them (har) and go with disposables, Toys R Us/Babies R Us has a (free) rewards card. If you buy certain brands of diapers in the super jumbo boxes (which are worth the large chunk of money at once...sooooooo much cheaper than the normal-sized packs you can get anywhere) you get the 10th box free. Size doesn't matter as long as you stick to the same brand.

If there's a Target closeish to you, I'd recommend their diapers too. They are SO inexpensive, but are decent quality. I used them for a loooong time with William (had to stop because he is oddly sized and somehow managed to be between two of their diaper sized, hence my finding out about Toys R Us's thing).

I feel your pain on the house thing too. In most instances, I'm glad we didn't move when we had planned on it (we only intended on being here 3-5 years - it's now been 7 1/2) because had we upgraded, we never would've been able to afford for me to stay home with William. On the other hand, I NEVER intended to stay on a permanent basis in Watertucky. So, yeah...we're basically stuck for the time being too.

Oh, AND with the rewards card, every $250 you spend (which can add up quickly espesh if you buy diapers there!) you get a $5 off certificate. Not much, but every bit helps.

Oooh, thanks for the tip. Even if I do stick with cloth for the time being, I still want to keep disposables around for when we go places. I think I'm also going to use them during the nights. Cloth feels wetter faster, and I don't need a cranky, awake baby at night.
