I feel really sad that all the computer in this house broke down at the same time but then it feels like a sign from above :o
All I am able to do is read my classical books and my shoujo manga in peace. On that note, right now, I'm reading 'a connecticut Yankee in king arthur's court' :) it seems like a nice and interesting book. Pretty intelligent and has lots of social commentary too. I'm enjoying it quite well.
The manga I finished yesterday was entitled aoharaido. It is a super cute story with a handsome male lead and a head-strong female lead. I love how the girl, Futaba-chan, thinks and how she develops in the story. She's cutesy and all without being stupid and annoying. She is pretty realistic too because of her constant want to have friends. The guys is a tsunderee but he has something that makes him a bit special.
Since I loved this story, I'm reading strobe edge right now. It's from the same writer so I expect something as awesome. I was disappointed. I'm just in chapter 8 but the main girl is just so stupid and not worthy of the boy that I feel I won't like the ending at all. There was this guy I liked who just got tossed aside, given a new fiercer girl and forgotten. That's just sad right. He used to know everything about the main girl! Saying it like that is just unfair, really.
Then there's his sister who is pretty cute and is just really compatible with the lead guy and is his current girlfriend... I guess they won't end up together. Even though they were cute and sweet and perfect together. Damn I don't like how this manga handles characters at all. Io-sama improved so much to have written aoharaido :) I'll just read kimi ni todoke later so i'llforget my annoyance!
Aaaaaah I want to read kaminomi and bakuman and katekyoooo. I guess I'll read later too. I have to take a break from shoujo too right? Haha.
