I like your boss from what you describe. I wonder if I should tell that joke to my cousin's wife. My cousin is in a similar situation to your boss. He married a great lady of African American ethnicity. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding actually. She might chuckle at that joke or slap me over the head. Whichever comes first.
