Spring 2008 Anime
After a long awaited, April finally came. April, of course the month of new coming anime. There're about 5 anime I'll give it a look, lets list it out one by one.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2:
No need to say anything, this show I must watch after waiting for a year. I even went wildly to listen to the audio recording of first episode R2 first. I give a very high hope to this show and hopefully it'll keep it promising. (in the download process now)
Vampire Knight:
I'm not really anticipated to this show until I watched the trailer myself. Not much special of the trailer itself but I'm attracted to the op song, "Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi (Two Beats and Red Sins)" by ON/OFF. It's such a good song that make me wanna watch the show and by spending 2 days to fiinish Vampire Knight manga until the latest chapter. Now this show very appeal to me as the story development is pretty good. I got bored at first by the early plot but soon the story telling get better and better. Well, I don't give high hope to the character design since what I saw from the trailer the manga ways more better.
Macross Frontier:
I'm not into Macross franchise and never watch any of the series before. But since it's a 25 anniversary series that the graphic looks too good for me I'll just give it a try. By the way, Yoko Kanno being the composer of this show is one of the main attract. Good show cannot without good music.
Special A:
Can I say that it's because of Fukuyama Jun? Lol~~Well, he's one of the reason but I heard that the manga is good and the prebroadcast version looks quite interesting also. I think it's a pretty hilarious story just might like Ouran High School Host Club (But JunJun, you better not uses too much Lulu voices).
Junjou Romantica:
Last week I read the first volume of the manga to have a first glance into the story. To my surprise, the art not what I've expected before. It's some sort of messy to me and pretty rough drawing sometimes. I have a feeling that the anime is better than the manga in terms of graphic. But in case of story, I think it might lose to the original manga since there're a lot of tv station broadcast it that I don't think they'll make a serious story telling about the relationship of this boys love manga.
Other than this five shows, I might give it a try to
Amatsuki
Nabari no Ou and maybe
Soul Eater
On a side note, there're 6 shows in total which JunJun has a role in this season to my knowledge. There're Code Geass, Special A, Amatsuki, xxxHOLIC Kei, Macross Frontier and Vampire Knight and he's the protagonist in four out of these six shows. He has been appear a lot recently and using a lot of Lulu voices. (= > =) I'll say it again, please don't overuses Lulu voices as I think it's special to Lulu only. (> . <)
