I think my new job is a definate keeper. By that I mean, I like it so much it will basically be permanent until if/when (...hopefull WHEN) I can break out and make my art into a serious career that I can support myself on. Until then I'll keep this part-time posistion, well, forever I guess. I get to go to free screeners of basically every movie that comes out. Today there was one for that under-sea-treasure/Jessica Alba one...Deep Blue or whatever, but I have no interest in seeing it. I get free dvd's when they come off of our staff screener rack. (which means select titles only, but still..) Free posters and movie-related crap, too bad I wasnt there when Hulk came out, I would have raped them for all their Hulk merchandise, same with Sin City. And DVD's/Games cheaper than retail price. My only complaint is I wish it started at 9 instead of 8:30 so I could get that extra 30 mins of sleep. oh well. In the mean time, I'll finish off my animated short and do some more sequential art pages, send them out, and hope for the best.
The launch party for our book is on Nov 4th, turns out my parents are leaving to go to Phoenix that day, so I'll be going alone :_: unless anyone has interest in going with me..hint hint. Anyways, the guys say the graphics and cartoons came out really nice and sharp, which is great because I kind of got worried after the whole incident with our bitchy Mc. Bitch master from the clan of bitchy bitches place setter. Yeah, time to update your software to something that isnt seven years old, and give us ppl who actually use up to date programs a break, skank.
