Saturday ain't what it used to be...

SO! After working the morning shift at my new job and being forced to watch Saturday morning TV out of sheer boredom (it's a security job, literally I just sit there and check a few things most days) , I have discovered a few things, as I actually haven't sat down to watch TV in... literally years. Keep in mind, this is Canadian TV, so a few of you who are american (...well, most of you, looking at my friends list) might not recognize some of these channels.

1. I still like Discovery Channel, even when they're not playing Mythbusters.

2. They play Robotech on Space Channel, this amused me.

3. So apparently they dubbed the first Pretty Cure and are playing it on YTV at 8 am, and it seems like a decent dub. Not only that, it's the original one with Pretty Cure Black and Pretty Cure White. I'm surprised they didn't leap right over to Yes! Pretty Cure Five... atleast that's something to look forward to.

For those who aren't in the know, Futari wa Pretty Cure is one of the newer "Magical Girl" animes they've got going on in Japan lately. Though there's like... 5 different seasons, each with a different team of girls, going from 2 members to about 6 members. The newest is called Pretty Cure Fresh... and it's... iiiinteresting.

4. They only show cartoons on YTV and Teletoon now on Saturday mornings, though that's a given with them. 4Kids on Fox is gone, no cartoons on ABC, or Global, or CTV... though that may have been because of Ted Kennedy's funeral. Either way, if that really is the case, it sucks monkey balls :T When I was a kid we had Fox Kids playing Digimon, and ABC with one Saturday Morning. Bah! *waves cane around*

So other then 8 am, I really don't have much to watch on TV. Bugger D;

Also, I've been trying a new inking technique for my pictures; I haven't really posted much of it up, sadly, cause I am a shy person/think my artwork sucks/too lazy to remember watermarks, but really it comes down to never feeling that a pencil sketch is 'complete' enough. I think Deviant Art ruined me for that. But, thing is, what really stopped me all the time from really messing around on Photoshop was because I never thought my line art was clean enough. I really can't seem to ink cleanly, and the pen tool from photoshop didn't quite do it how I like it...

Then I remembered I had manga studio Debut. Which, all things considered, is a lovely, LOVELY program for inking. Really nice black lines-- and their pen tool works JUST the way I need it too. It's really quite the relief 8D; so maybe soon I can show you guys a finished piece... I hope.

Ah well, enough pointless rambling for now.

Peace out~
