Hehe! They are both members of Japanese boy bands. >_____< Which I sadly enjoy. Both bands are under the Johnny's Entertainment group which also has singers like Tackey and Tsubasa or Kinki Kids.

Ueda Tatsuya is from KAT-TUN while Nishikido Ryo is from NewS/Kanjani8.

Um.. basically, Ryo didn't like Ueda, because he Ueda was really weird and was a poser (Because Ueda fanboys Gackt, who is pretty scary/weird himself, and used to try an immitate him.) Ueda wanted to be "cool" more than anything, and Ryo thought that was stupid.

Well.. one time Ryo (who is known for having a sharp tongue) asked Ueda who he was trying to be to his face in front of a ton of people on TV (even though Kame, another KAT-TUN band member had told him to lay off), and it upset Ueda a lot (he's kind of sensitive). And basically, Ryo and Ueda feuded for a few years.

Finally, they apologized to each other (before a concert, I think). They read letters to each other and then everything was pretty much fine. <333 But it got kind of bad for a while, mainly because Ryo was an ass, but that's not to say Ueda didn't say bad things back to him.

Wow, they've got quite the cool canon history going on :) Seeing even the first few clips, I can SO imagine shipping them like mad. Ueda is just SO kawaii and Ryo is such an amazing nasty brat <3. I can't watch all of the clips right now, sadly enough... but the first few looked like fun, even though the lack of translation and not knowing who is who makes it all a bit confusing :P I'll watch 'em later!

Yeah, I'm kind of in love with this pairing. I wish there was more stuff about them out there.. but so many people like shipping them with other people, hehe.

Ueda is like the cutest thing I've ever seen. He's just adorable and weird and he warms my heart!! And then there is Ryo who is just like sexy and cool and cruel and he's like the hottest guy ever! (Besides my boyfriend, hehe)

It is difficult to know all these people, hehe. They all look very much a like at first. I don't even know all the band members. And I can only tell a few my name in NewS/Kanjani8. Of course those are big groups. KAT-TUN is easy to know because they are look very different to me.

What other, more popular pairings are out there then? Pairings within their bands? And what kind of material is there about them? Do you mean fanfic? Is there a lot of fanfic> - is it of any considerable quality? Because I've gone through some jrock/pop fic and it's all been very... filled with geisha AUs and fluff... :(

Having seen all the vids, I don't understand how someone as kawaii as Ueda could be seen as a weird poser who only wants to be 'cool'. *petshim* Though that pink cowboyhat was rather weird.

Oh, I've read Ueda cries rather often. Is that why you used crying in your fic?

I don't think I'll ever really get into Jpop *music*, it's too fluffy. But the fandomness and pretty boy lurve and amusing vids are always nice! Convert me to that anytime ;)

Yeah, the most popular pairing of any Jpop couple has to be Akame (Akanishi Jin/Kamenashi Kazuya from KAT-TUN), but I really don't like it all that much, haha. Then with Ueda.. JunDa (Taguchi Junnosuke/Ueda) Is pretty cute. Then there is JinDa, MaruDa(Nakamaru Yuuichi/Ueda), etc. And then there is Tanaka Koki/Ueda which is adorable in my opinion. xD With Ryo there is pretty much only a few people he is paired with, but Uchi, his best friend who is also in both of his bands is paired with him a lot. It tend to find that fanfiction a bit boring though, lol. (right now, Uchi is on suspension from the groups because he was caught drinking underage.)

Um.. materials.. there is a lot of fanfiction, but not a ton of RyoDa. Mainly what people look at are videos, (which require you to study up on band members and what they look like, not an easy task) And then there are photos, and just random shonen-aiish stuff. Um, in Japan and lot of the boy bands do "fanservice" n stuff, too. And then some people base pairings off of interviews and such. I dunno. There is a ton of stuff out there that I don't even look at. :)

Um, I think that Ryo means how Ueda fanboys Gackt so much and how tried to be like him so much in the past (see hair cut/blonde color, Gackt's jewelry, etc.) And how he would never smile and always act like a "tortured soul" type. I can't explain it right. >_< That's what I think Ryo/his bands didn't like about him. Plus he is kind of weird. He believes in fairies and things, rofl. AND THAT HAT!!! It's so freaky. xD

Ueda does cry a lot, and Ryo has made him cry before.. so that is part of what I based this fic off of.

Teehee, I love Jpop music. But you kind of have to be picky about the songs, some are fluffy and stupid, like you say, but a lot are really angsty or cute, but you can't tell by the lyrics. (Japanese lyrics are really hard to understand, period.) Um... I can't upload because it will take an hour, but see if you can download some of these songs:

I take it that all the people you named are people from Ueda's band? Okey, I see! Is it usual for fans to learn japanese? Because I don't see how you could base a pairing off of videos when you can't understand them. At least I find it a bit awkward. Oh, fanservice! Shiny! Do a lot of bands do fanservice? Is it a really regular thing? In what types of bands/genres of music/artists do you find most performance of it? And what kind do they do? How much has to happen before fans will consider it 'fanservice'?

I don't know that much Japanese (I've only had about a year of classes) and I can understand some of what goes on, but I rely a lot on body language and things like that. A lot of time people that know a lot of Japanese will translate it for us, which makes it nice. :)

As for fanservice, a lot of groups do it. It's not just a Jrock only or Jpop only thing. I think Jpop boy bands do it a lot more than Jrock bands, that I'm aware of, but I don't know for sure.

Um, a lot of times it's just hand holding or hugging or cuddling, but sometimes they pretend to kiss... or actually do. <3 It just depends. Nothing really big though, Japanese people still aren't too open with affection? Or they sometimes will say stuff about other people in interviews n such.

I don't know exactly when he's made Ueda cry except for I heard he made Ueda cry with that "Who are you trying to be" comment the first time he asked. Ueda is really pretty when he cries though.. ^^

Him and Kame (the guy he is singing with in this clip) got in a fight and then they had to go out on stage and Ueda was still crying and upset..
