Alright, so for all you people who have been really high on teams like the New England Patriots and the San Diego Chargers in the AFC, well.....
I JUST HOPE YOU WERE WATCHING THE COLTS TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the season opener that included the unveiling of the Super Bowl XLI Championship Banner, the reigning world champions, our beloved Indianapolis Colts, well, if I might say, ABSOLUTELY SHALACKED the New Orleans Saints 41-10!!!!!!!!!!! Peyton Manning, looking like his usual self, went 18-33 for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns - one to Marvin Harrison (107th career TD hookup between the two) and the other two to Reggie Wayne. Joseph Addai had a great game with 23 rushes for 118 yards and a touchdown. Dallas Clark had some great catches and an amazing rushing attempt resulting in a crucial first down!!! The rookie left tackle, Tony Ugoh, shined as well, not allowing a single sack.
And how bout that Colts DEFENSE!!!! They shut down Deuce McAllister and Reggie Bush, and intercepted Drew Brees twice (one made by Freddy Keiaho and the other returned for a touchdown by Matt Giordano), and forced a fumble on him as well (Robert Mathis)!
YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With that, the Colts proved that they are still the reigning Super Bowl Champions, make no mistake of it. They are out to prove that THEY, not the Patriots or the Chargers, are getting back to the Super Bowl and are WINNING IT!!!!!!
