I've been in the worst mood for about the last 36 hours or so, just can't shake it. Having three bosses certainly doesn't help. Especially when one is a petty baby who begrudges any time I spend working on stuff for the other two. There has got to be a better way to run a company than this.

I found out that all the hard work I had to do a couple weeks back, including an all-nighter in San Antonio, a last minute flight to TX and missing a class, was for naught because our stupid partner company didn't have a good read on their customer. The good news is that the customer was impressed with our effort and is giving us the opportunity to bid on more business without the stupid overhead of this partner. Not sure that I really want to see my company expand into this market, but in this economy they are looking for revenue anywhere, the margins be damned! (Of course I am cranky because I get paid on the margins amongst other things) It's kind of scary to be wondering at 29 if my career hit its highpoint at 27, I don't know where the hell I am going to go from here.

On a "Things that Make Me Happy" note check out the following link. The artist's name is Steve Graber and he does some really masterful work with charcoal and water color on mylar. It's amazing stuff with the clarity and resolution of a photograph, but with the life of paint. I bought a painting by him from Bryant Galleries earlier this year while in New Orleans. If I ever find a site on works by the other artist I am interested in, Eugenia Perez del Toro, I'll post that as well.
