Never ceases to amaze. . .
It never ceases to amaze me just how many stupid people there are in the world. Case in point, yesterday driving from St Louis to Chicago I was stuck behind a motorcycle trooper for about 15 miles. There were five of us all biding our time waiting for this trooper to turn off into his trap or an exit or something. Well, one twit couldn't wait, so after about 15 minutes he decided he was going to pass the trooper. He got no more than a car length ahead of the guy then *bing* the lights go on and he gets pulled over. Uhhh... what the fuck was he thinking?
I'm working with an account team that is managing to step on their dick in much the same fashion. They've never been supportive of the work that my practice is performing out at the customer because they don't understand it and can't explain the benefits. How in this day and age someone who is responsible for moving about $30M in product and services a year can't understand an ROI analysis is beyond me, but yes gentles, they do exist.
I actually got some feedback yesterday that I was too emotional on a conference call because my disdain for this account team was apparent. Hrm, yeah, I'll work on that.
