NY, NY

Thankfully the weather in Manhattan has dried since Tuesday. I used to want to live here so badly as a kid, and every time I watch a Woody Allen flick I vow to move, but the reality of working in NYC is that it kind of sucks. I am much more at home in Chicago, the city seems more vibrant to me. Maybe it's because I know Chicago so much better, I don't know. It certainly doesn't help that I am on an extremely boring project right now that is entirely beneath me. I think I'll take a walk over to a favorite gallery at lunch, that can't help but make me feel better.

On an interesting note, a hotel in the area is having a double points deal that if I stayed there for a couple of weeks would net me enough points for a free golf vacation in Scottsdale... woo woo!
