Me: I have a very bad cold, so try not to come too close to me, okay?
Girl: I wish I was sick! I wish I was sick!
Me: You just want to get sick so you don't have to come to school.
Girl: No, if I got sick, then people can't come near me and mess with me.
In other news:
A student of mine called me "gangsta" today. I decided to take that as a compliment.
Of course, none of that "gangsta" attitude stopped two kids chasing one with the threat to beat him up in the same class, but hey, at this point I'll take what I can get.
