Summary : Ryosuke’s love life is getting hindered by a certain transfer student and it becomes worse when that transfer student falls in love with his crush.
The bell rang and Kento looked at the classroom door, expecting Yuto to appear anytime soon since it was normal for the lanky boy to come over and have lunch together with Ryosuke. This was also Kento’s only chance to try and win Yuto from Ryosuke as he and Yuto are in different classes, resulting in the chances for them to interact with each other lessen. Thus, when Yuto didn’t appear outside his classroom that day, Kento was puzzled.
“Don’t bother looking, Yuto won’t come today.” Ryosuke said, snapping the other boy from his thought.
‘Did they fight? That’s why that airhead didn’t come to our class?’ Kento frowned slightly before another thought pops up in his mind, causing him to beam brightly. ‘Is this my chance?! I can steal Yuto away from him while they are on bad terms!’
“Don’t even think about it. There’s no way Yuto and I would be fighting with each other.” Ryosuke said, as if he could read Kento’s mind. Ryosuke heard the younger boy clicked his tongue in frustration and cheered silently in his heart.
“Then where is he? Did he not come to school?” Kento turned to look at Ryosuke who was munching pitifully on a piece of bread since Yuto didn’t provide him with bento today.
“Why should I tell you?” Ryosuke answered after swallowing.
“Because I want to know? It’s not like you’ll lose a piece of meat if you tell me.” Kento snorted and rested his head on his palm.
Thinking that there was no harm telling Kento, Ryosuke put the bread down on his table before turning to Kento. “He’s sick that’s why.”
“I thought idiots don’t fall sick.” Kento muttered quietly to himself.
For the rest of the lessons, Kento was either staring at Ryosuke or out of the window. The older boy seemed a little out of it today and Kento thought that it might be because of Yuto. Without him knowing, classes passed by in a blink of an eye and when he came to it, Ryosuke had already finish packing his things and was about to leave.
“Where are you going?” Kento stood up, stopping Ryosuke before he could even head for the door.
“Do you really need to know where I’m going?” Ryosuke frowned at Kento. He was heading to Yuto’s house to take care of him as he heard from the lanky boy that his parents wasn’t at home and Ryosuke couldn’t really trust Yuto’s younger brother who was six years younger than him to take care of Yuto.
Not wanting to waste time by arguing with Kento, Ryosuke decided to just tell the younger boy whatever he wants to know so that he could arrive at Yuto’s place earlier.
“I’m going to Yuto’s house.” As soon as those words left his lips, Ryosuke regretted it immediately.
“Then I’m coming with you!” Kento exclaimed without hesitation. If it was a normal occasion, Ryosuke would definitely not allow Kento to go but right now, he doesn’t have the energy and time to argue with the other boy thus allowing Kento to tag along.

“Ryo-nii!” A voice shouted. The door opened and a boy whom looks like a younger version of Yuto stepped out and grinned at Ryosuke but it soon turned into a confused stare as he saw Kento.
“Who is this?” Raiya tilted his head but invited the both of them in nonetheless.
“He is-”
“I’m Yuto’s good friend, Yamazaki Kento.” Kento smiled at the younger boy. Ryosuke glared at Kento for not only interrupting him but also for saying that he is Yuto’s good friend when he is not.
“I’m Nakajima Raiya, nice to meet you.” Raiya bowed politely before grabbing Ryosuke’s hand and dragging him to Yuto’s room.
“Nii-chan is still not feeling well after taking the medicine.” Raiya explained as they walked to Yuto’s room.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of him.” Ryosuke patted Raiya’s head. “But Raiya, don’t you have to go to school?”
The younger boy shook his head, “I can’t leave nii-chan alone so I skipped school today.” That made Ryosuke smile and as soon as they reached Yuto’s room, all of them kept their mouth shut, afraid to wake Yuto up if he was sleeping.
“Yuto?” Ryosuke whispered as he opened the door slowly. It wasn’t needed though, as the boy was clearly awake.
“You won’t get well if you don’t sleep you know.” Ryosuke sighed. Kento whom stayed quiet for the whole time finally opened up his mouth but Raiya’s action beat him to it as the youngest boy rushed and plopped down next to Yuto, a pout plastered on his face.
“Hurry up and sleep nii-chan!” Raiya said as he rested his head on Yuto’s bed.
“I don’t feel like sleeping.” Yuto got up from his bed and noticed the silent Kento behind Ryosuke.
“Kento-kun, you came.” Yuto gave a small smile but started coughing after that. Ryosuke quickly poured a cup of water from the jug on the study table and gave it to Yuto.
“Come on Yuto, don’t make Raiya so worried about you.” Ryosuke reprimanded the younger boy as he took the cup away and leave it on the table.
‘I never thought that he would have a younger brother that loves him so much.’ Kento thought amusedly.
“It’s not like I did it purposely.” Yuto puffed his cheeks up as he brought his knees close to his chest.
‘They really are brothers.’ Kento looked from Yuto’s puffed up cheeks to Raiya’s pout. He has the urge to poke Yuto’s cheeks but decided not to as it would probably look weird.
“Don’t just stand there Kento-kun. You can sit anywhere.” Yuto motioned for silent boy to come in and to everyone’s surprise, including Kento himself, he actually sat on Yuto’s bed. Ryosuke of course, was feeling annoyed but he himself had no idea what just happened.
“Yuto, you don’t have to call me with the -kun too.” Kento told the sick boy. It took a few seconds for Yuto to snap out from his daze and answered Kento with a nod.
“For now, let’s just leave Yuto to sleep while we prepare food for him. Raiya too, come out.” Ryosuke got up and eyed Kento, trying to get him out of Yuto’s room this instance.
“Raiya, go rest first. Kento and I will take care of Yuto now.” Ryosuke told the younger boy and he nodded as a reply before going to his room.
“You,” Ryosuke turned to Kento, “will follow me down to the kitchen.” And with that, Ryosuke walked down the stairs with Kento tagging unwillingly behind.
