Summary : Ryosuke’s love life is getting hindered by a certain transfer student and it becomes worse when that transfer student falls in love with his crush.

“Yama-chan, walk properly.” Yuto groaned as he pulled the reluctant Ryosuke to school.
“But I don’t want to go to school. I don’t want to see his face.” Ryosuke pouted, referring to the not-so-new transferred student. A few months have passed and it’s already their last term in their first year but the bad feeling Ryosuke had for Kento hadn’t change at all.
“I still don’t get what you don’t like Yamazaki-kun. Did he do something to you?” Yuto frowned.
“He didn’t. I just don’t like his presence.” Ryosuke grumbled. Kento had done nothing to Ryosuk. In fact, all the boy wants is to just become Ryosuke’s friend and yet the other dislikes him for no reason.
“Stop being antisocial Yama-chan.” Yuto chided as they reached the older boy’s classroom.
“It’s enough if I have you next to me.” Ryosuke replied before hurrying into the classroom in order to hide his flushing face from Yuto.
“Yamada-kun, can I talk to you for a bit?” Kento asked, making Ryosuke jumped on his seat since he didn’t notice to other boy at all.
“What for? I have nothing to say to you.” Ryosuke replied rudely. Even though Yuto had already told him countless of time that he has to be nicer to other people, Ryosuke couldn’t help but answer Kento as if he was his greatest enemy. Maybe he would be his greatest enemy though, in the near future.
“Do you really hate me that much?” Kento stared into Ryosuke’s eyes and realizing that he wouldn’t get a reply, he continued, “Don’t be mistaken Yamada-kun, I’m not interested in you. It’s just that I don’t get how people in this school treat you as the king and yet all you is show this unpleasant look on your face.”
Ryosuke didn’t expect that at all. He wasn’t expecting a confrontation early in the morning and most of all, from this guy next to him. It didn’t seem like he was done so Ryosuke continued to keep his mouth shut, wondering what will come out next.
“To be honest, I really dislike you.” That made Ryosuke froze on the spot. “Maybe that was a little harsh considering how I only know you for months but I really do dislike you. That spot you have there,” Kento was referring to his popularity in school, “I am going to take it from you. Not only that, your best friend, Nakajima Yuto-kun was it, I’m taking him too.”
“Like hell I would allow that.” Ryosuke snapped, coming out from his ice block. Kento could take his spot among the students for all he care but just Yuto, he wasn’t allowed to touch.
“Don’t go near Yuto, he’s not someone you can just mess around with.” Ryosuke narrowed his eyes. The bell rang before he could go any further and the teacher came in, breaking the two of them from their fight. He could tell though, that Kento was not going to listen to him so easily and keep his hands away from Yuto.

Kento didn’t think about what he was going to say to Ryosuke so when Yuto’s name came out from his mouth, he was taken aback too. He didn’t have the intention to drag some innocent people into this childish fight of his but maybe his consciousness has realized that it was not possible to make Ryosuke notice his presence if he hadn’t mention Yuto.
It was not like Kento to dwell so much on such a minor problem but as Yuto’s face finds its way into his mind, he couldn’t help but to be affected. He had seen Yuto countless of time already since Yuto would always come into his class to look for Ryosuke. The only time Kento sees Ryosuke relax was also only around Yuto.
As the bell rang, indicating that school was over, Kento waited until Ryosuke got up from his seat before following him. He knows that the older boy would be looking for Yuto and it was a good time for him to take action.
“Nakajima-kun!” Kento smiled as he approached the two best friends. He could see Ryosuke’s smile turning into a scowl from the corner of his eyes but that wasn’t his main focus right now.
“Do you need something from me? Or are you looking for Yama-chan?” Yuto tilted his head, confused as to why Kento was speaking to him.
‘Is he an idiot or what? If I want to speak to Yamada I would have just talk to him directly.’ Kento frowned slightly but tried to not let it show.
“I just wanted to talk to you and maybe become friends with you?” Kento tried to give his best smile but it probably failed as he could hear Ryosuke scoffed from the sidelines.
“As if he just wants to be friends.” Ryosuke rolled his eyes before grabbing Yuto’s hands. “Let’s go Yuto.”
“Stop it Yama-chan. Really, how many times do I have to tell you be more sociable?” Yuto scolded and Ryosuke pouted. Kento knows that Ryosuke and Yuto were very very close friends but seeing Ryosuke pout? It was the first.
“Perhaps you would have known my name from Yama-chan but just for the formalities, I’m Nakajima Yuto. You can just call me Yuto.” Yuto smiled as he brought his hand out.
“Yamazaki Kento. Kento is fine.” Kento too, brought his hand out and gave Yuto a firm handshake. It was probably his imagination but Kento swore that he felt an electric current running through him as soon as their hands touched though it lasted barely a second.
“Let’s go already Yuto, don’t get involve with him.” Ryosuke threw a glare at Kento before pulling Yuto away.
