I had this whole thing planned..

And then it went wrong. I suppose it's my own fault but, still, I can't help being a rather sensitive woman once a month right?

I went to America and spent a lot of time with the lovely Mina and Tatum, at which point I completely forgot to check into LiveJournal and stay updated on all the gossip and such other important things. Sadly I also missed my second University Interview, I ate something that was supposed to be an Indian Take Out, but ended up finding out it was food poisoning.

I was rather disappointed and upset with myself and checked my emails only to find out that my poor Boiid died from shock and freezing. The neighbour's cat, who owns the area and can enter where ever and when ever he wants, stole him from his tank which my mother had forgotten to close. Needless to say it was too late by the time they found him. I've been using Yuki as a teddy bear and thankfully he gives fantastic hugs.

My time in America flew by and before I knew it I was boarding the plane to Russia. Many teary goodbyes with the girls ensued, Mina, Tatum, you two are like sisters too me, please be well! On the airplane there was some American boy who thought he was cool and told me, in Russian, that I had a nice donkey. I told him not to trust web translators, they're not very flattering. Yuki almost got caught laughing himself silly, poor thing had to endure getting punched by a little girl who thought it was how you made him laugh and shake, like a toy she'd seen in America.

So then I was back home and had to see more teary faces, this time with joy of my returning. I went to bed late after hearing all the gossip from home and then the next morning I went and stood by Boiid's grave in the garden. Seeing his empty tank is disconcerting, he was a rude little snapper, he would have fought until the bitter cold got him. And goodness it is cold.

Then the whole village got snowed in and the electricity generator (We're a rather old village) couldn't handle it and quit his job. Last week we finally managed to free the village and a mechanic fixed the generator. It's getting even colder now though so who knows if we will get another snow storm, but until then,

I am back and ready to start something, so...

Who's up for a snowball party?

mina, plane, russia, tatum, america, party
