EGOT is not a dirty word

Okay, so viewers of 30 Rock may be familiar with the phrase EGOT, used to describe the select list of individuals who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award.

My theory on who's angling for such glory? This man.


Trent Reznor has been nominated for a Grammy on twelve occasions, and won twice (1992 and 1995). He's now been nominated for an Oscar for his score to The Social Network. What about the E and T? That's a longer bow to draw, but what about the much-rumoured 'Year Zero' TV series based on his work, and Fight Club: The Musical?

So yeah, look out Geilgud, Hepburn and... er, Whoopi, because the man behind Nine Inch Nails may be coming to join you on that EGOT podium. Maybe he'll even wear one of these:
