Huzzah!
Trent Reznor (and Atticus Ross) is scoring Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I can't wait - Social Network was a really interesting return to the world of soundtracks for Reznor. Comparing his work on that to, say, Natural Born Killers (which was a mixtape soundtrack rather than a score) or his abandoned work which eventually became Still, there is a tremendous amount of - to my ears - growth and variety. I'm a big, big Nine Inch Nails fan, and I am finding myself consistently surprised that TR's post-NIN work seems as enthralling and essential as his 'real' work.
