what started out being what i was sure would just NOT be my day, turned out surprisingly to actually be a great one.
so i wake up, and i have been stressing all night cause i couldn't finish all of my homework.
i was able to finish Fr. Bob's analysis paper on "Shelter From the Storm" by Bob Dylan in the car by flashlight.
i was about to attempt finishing my geometry when Andrew said to Megan and I, "I need to go and see Father Bob. i thought ok, i'd like to go too. So, the three of us all went together and sat down in Father Bob's office. The four of us just talked and talked. Before i knew it, the morning bell was ringing and I had to go to class. I won't forget it though. He helped to calm me down so much! he said to me that i shouldn't worry about grades because there are bigger and more important things. in a few years, i wont remember what i got on my quarter project! he is so right!!! man, he made everything seem better. the day went so smoothly! frillici, it turns out, absolutely loved my quarter project, spanish quiz was majorly easy, i did a lot better than i expected on duncan's pre-test, and i was able to finish geometry in class. and it turns out that a lot of my ideas about the meaning of "Shelter From the Storm" were actually right according to Father Bob!
amazing how you can wake up expecting one thing and it turns out COMPLETELY and TOTALLY different...
