Rai Thistlethwayte -- the front man from Aussie rock band Thirsty Merc -- has given thehothits.com the scoop on Nick Jonas and Delta Goodrem's relationship!
Rai was at the Bali songwriting camp that both Nick and Delta attended in late May/early June, so when we caught up with Thirsty Merc recently we asked him for the goss.
But when we quizzed him about Nelta's romance, Rai said he got the impression they were ALREADY TOGETHER before the camp!
"I don't know if they got together at that thing," Rai said. "Whenever I saw them there they were together."
OMG!
"They were living in the same room and totally seemed very relaxed and comfortable," Rai went on. "We ate dinner with them a bunch of times and they were having a great time."
Rai said the age difference, 8 years -- with Nick being 18 and Delta 26, was not that noticeable because Nick is really mature for his age.
"A lot of people have commented that they're really different in age.... There is an age difference but one thing I really noticed about Nick Jonas is he's a very experienced guy. He's been in a band that's toured the world, he's pretty adept in all the things you do as a musician."
So does Rai think Nick and Delta's relationship will last?
Yes!
"(Nick's) a really relaxed guy, he was a real sweetheart actually so I sort of thought maybe they're good for each other!"
