This entry has been written over the course of the entire day as events with Toshiba Customer Service developed. I am publishing it for the first time with two updates included. Excellent! I just want to respond by saying how impressed I am with the way you handled this, including how controlled you stayed with the difficult CSR. I'm going to make a point of remembering this post and referring to it when I have to deal with an issue like this -- as we all have to from time to time. It seems like things aren't made to *last* anymore like they used to be. (And my gosh, is that my grandma's voice coming out of my mouth when I say that?)

Anyway, I hope when I have to deal with difficult people next time, i'll remember this and take a page from your book.
