Title: Codebreaker: The History of Codes and Ciphers
Author: Stephen Pincock
Number of Pages: 176
Genre: non-fiction, history
Book Number: 57

Review: I really enjoyed this book and learned a few interesting things along the way. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in crpytography. The chapter on quantum cryptography was especially interesting. The potential of quantum computing is mind boggling and a bit scary all at the same time, which suits quantum theory just perfectly, I suppose.

The book gave example problems and step-by-step instructions on how different types of codes and ciphers work, and they were fairly easy to follow. I did not attempt the problems in the back. I was more interested in the history than actually attempting to crack any of the ciphers. (I don't have the patience to work that methodically.)
