hot diggity damn!
i just finished with my final project of my final class for library school! woo! no, i am not getting a degree. i'm quitting! quitting this wretched joke of a program & moving on with my life. i will probably start taking classes at osu but only ones that sound supremely interesting & that still leaves me plenty of free time as summer quarter doesn't even start til June. thank jeebus.
my final project involved designing a webpage using html tags based around some search results. it's no beaut but i'm still proud (though not proud enough to show the rest of you, dear readers). i laboured over the thing for a ridiculous number of hours & i managed to figure out all the code for the things i wanted to do with it. i suppose it's like anything one manufactures themselves--at least when one is no expert in the medium--it doesn't matter how damned ugly it is, it still gives you that glowy feeling.
as to life, i've been biking to work some, but not much. stupid ohio spring weather. oh well, we're getting there.
i did chop off my hair to help deal with the morning helmet head. i've never in my life had my hair this short previously & i'm still getting used to despite it having been cut a week & a half ago! soon, soon, i promise there will be pictures up on facebook. one of the unexpected joys of shearing my hair has been discovering that i do, in fact, have a cowlick! who knew?!
anyway, i'm excited about the advent of free time! i can start reading again. and baking (i really want to bake some celebratory muffins right now but i figured i should update for once in my life...). and cooking real meals. taking walks. playing zelda. appeasing the wii fit by walking on it daily. all of these things & more!!
oh, the joy! the sweet, sweet joy of quitting!
