Lord Nelson and the sheep

I should obviously have been watching the Antiques Roadshow last night, as one of the things on it was a letter from Nelson about a sheep! Said sheep was given to the captain of Leviathan, survived Trafalgar on board, and seems to have been honourably retired home afterwards

Hehe! That's brilliant! I wonder if the sheep was awarded the Naval General Service Medal?!

Yes and became the forebear of a line of fine sheep apparently = I actually think the expert undervalued the letter as Nelson letters go for huge prices
but it was good to see
