Navy officers' book
In my wanderings around the Internet, I happened across this little gem and thought it worth sharing. The (longwinded) title is Observations and Instructions for the Use of the Commissioned, the Junior, and Other Officers of the Royal Navy, on All the Material Points of Professional Duty.
It's dated 1804 and looks to be fairly thorough, though I haven't done much more than skim through it.
