It's October, which for Tomato Nation readers means Ramen Noodles...because it's time for the Donor's Choose Challenge. In 2007, 1,099 donors gave $102,036 and helped 15,953 students. Our reward was Sarah Bunting aka Sars --the author of the Tomato Nation blog-- in a Tomato costume, dancing in Rockfeller Plaza. Tomato Nation also beat out the likes of Stephen Colbert in the Donor's Choose Blogger Challenge. The first link explains it all. Forward your receipt for a donation to any of the projects from the Tomato Nation challenge page to Sars to be entered in a drawing for fabulous prizes. As Sars acknowledged on her blog, now isn't a good time to be asking for money...but she's gonna ask anyway. Donor's Choose truly is a great cause, I hope you'll join me in supporting them.
