ah, the scrabble icon. i needed something wordy for my masterlist post. it's also a great one for writing. and it always reminds me that i need to expand my vocabulary. i love scrabble.
i like quinn best when she's joyful and i'd seen a couple icons with sky backgrounds that i really liked. i also needed an icon for "happy/euphoric." so i got a happy pose and bright colors and voila!
i post a lot of fic and art and icons and whatever and people say such lovely things (thank you to all of you who say lovely things, you always brighten my day) and so i wanted a thank you icon! what better to use than joey richter (omg, unf joey richter, whom i am lucky enough to have seen in person on three occasions) as ron actually saying "thanks" ??
aw, little harry and ron. i wanted a fall icon so i knew i wanted something sepia toned. fall and sepia tone just go together in my book. also, hp7 part 1 was approaching and i was feeling nostalgic. i also loved this photo when i found it. i'd never seen it before and thought it was just ripe for icon making.
tangled is my new favorite thing, if you haven't gathered by my many, many LJ posts about it. it even gets its own tag, which will appear on this post. i guess it's because rapunzel is the first disney princess i've actually identified with at all (it goes beyond the long blonde hair and green eyes- i paint, read, play chess, bake, play guitar, am generally uncoordinated, and fancy myself to be something of a badass on occasion. i also get what it's like to feel like you're on house arrest. either way i love her) and flynn rider is just COOL. like, of all disney "princes" (i guess he qualifies at the end) he's just the best one. I also wanted to do something with that camera light texture and so went out and found one.
