Just found out that one of my favorite books from my childhood (my teacher read it aloud to us in 7th grade) was made into a movie...
...filmed at my old middle school, which has since closed.
I thought the movie (because I knew one had been filmed there) was a different movie with the same title- but it's what I originally thought it was. It's gonna be strange to see this story take place in the same hallway where I had my first algebra class or see my neighbor sit in class with the principal characters (he was an extra) . It'll make the whole world of this book seem just a little more real. So excited to see it when it comes out.
