Two days after household waste pick up (appliances, furniture etc) we had a major appliance die.. again!

Insert many bad words here.

Our 11 yr old microwave had bit the big one. The door safety mechanism isn't working anymore. I called around and the price of just 'looking' at it ranged from $80 to $129. Repair man came out to check the washing machine. It seems the action of the machine sucked a light weight plastic bag underneath it, and it jammed up the workings. Cleaned it out, and all is well. Small call out fee well worth it.

The washing machine has decided it doesn't want to spin the clothes after the water drains. My bet it's because of it being overloaded over and over again by Aikidomayland stuffing his gis in there ( Read more... )
